The episode begins with Adit asking Ishana to explain what she means, as he’s unable to understand her. Ishana reveals, “I overheard Kapil and Pratima’s conversation. Kapil uncle doesn’t want to accept me and Akshat after the marriage. So, I recorded their conversation and sent it to Mom. Now Kapil confronted me for that and slapped me.”
Kapil demands Ishana tell the truth, but Adit warns him not to intimidate her in his presence. He turns to Mangal and asks for her opinion. Mangal replies that she will question in her own way. She asks Kapil if he took Ishana into a room. Kapil admits it. Adit then firmly asks him to leave the house, warning that otherwise, he’ll throw him out.
Pratima reacts angrily and questions Mangal, “Did you invite us here just to insult us?” She defends Kapil, saying, “If he says he didn’t do anything, then I believe him. How can you let others doubt his character just because of Ishana’s claim?” Kusum sides with Ishana, while Sowmya feels that Kapil isn’t someone who would behave this way.
Kapil suggests calling the police to uncover the truth. Ishana insists she’s telling the truth and says there’s no need to involve the police. Overwhelmed with emotion, she throws the cake. Mangal tells Kapil not to threaten her daughter. Kapil insists he just wants the truth to come out.
Suddenly, Yash speaks up. He says he witnessed what happened in the room. Kapil urges him to tell the truth, while Ishana grows anxious. Yash says, “I went in to give Ishana a gift, and I saw Kapil slap her.” Kapil denies the accusation and claims Yash is lying.
Akshat steps forward and says angrily, “You’re bad. You slapped Ishana and ruined my sister’s birthday.” Kusum asks Ishana’s friends to leave, declaring the party is over. The guests exit. Adit then asks Pratima and Kapil to leave too. Furious, he almost raises his hand at Kapil but restrains himself, warning them to leave before he loses control. Kapil tries to explain to Mangal, but she tells them to go.
Disheartened, Kapil says, “Let’s go, Mom. Even Mangal doesn’t believe the truth. There’s no hope left here.” Pratima silently follows him. Ishana smirks to herself. Mangal takes the kids to their room. Adit, still seething, tells Kusum, “Kapil ruined Ishana’s birthday. I won’t forgive him.”
Later, Kapil washes his face, distressed. He thinks about Ishana’s false accusation and wonders why no one believed him. Pratima senses his pain and begins to suspect that Ishana may have done this intentionally.
At night, Mangal comforts Ishana and Akshat, telling them to sleep without fear. Akshat angrily breaks the gifts he received from Kapil. Mangal asks what he’s doing, and he replies, “Kapil is bad. I don’t want anything from him.” Mangal gently calms him down.
Meanwhile, Ishana thinks to herself, “Kapil got what he deserved for slapping my father.”
After putting the kids to sleep, Mangal stares at her engagement ring. Just then, Kapil tries calling her, but she silences the phone and ignores him, praying to Maata Rani for strength.
Kapil continues to call, but Pratima advises him to stop if Mangal doesn’t want to talk. Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Expecting Mangal, Kapil opens the door—but is shocked to see Adit.
Adit hands him a resignation letter, stating he no longer wishes to work with him. Kapil tries to explain his side, but Adit doesn’t listen and harshly walks off in search of his car keys.
Moments later, Mangal arrives at Kapil’s house. Adit, holding his keys, notices her and recalls Sowmya’s warnings about Mangal. Suspicious, he quietly observes from a distance. Kapil, on the other hand, is overjoyed to see Mangal.
