The episode begins with Eshwar assigning Katha the responsibility of ensuring that UV doesn’t leave before completing the post-wedding rituals. Katha agrees and promises to uphold her marital duties. UV becomes angry, and his cousins criticize Katha. Eshwar prepares to leave, but Harshvardhan reminds him of the importance of elders being present to counter any mischief from UV’s cousins. Eshwar then asks Shlok and Charu to stay back, and they agree. The Jindals leave the venue. Meanwhile, Ambika plans to use Tammy to remove Katha from UV’s life so her own children can claim the property.
After the Jindals leave, Shlok teases UV and advises him to stay until the vidaai ceremony. Katha confronts UV for being indifferent to his family’s reputation. UV argues and refuses to stay, even throwing away the gadbandhan. Katha catches it and remembers Eshwar and Chandrika’s words, vowing to stop UV from leaving before the ceremony. Spotting UV’s cousins, she comes up with an idea.
Katha approaches UV’s cousins and asks Pratty to stop UV, mentioning he is a policeman. Shocked, they refuse, claiming UV won’t listen to them. Pratty points out that UV was forced into the marriage and won’t accept Katha. Katha insists she isn’t asking him to accept the marriage, only to respect the elders’ wishes. She also criticizes Pratty for not helping despite being a police officer and demands he take action. Pratty and Omi refuse, saying UV would feel betrayed. Katha then shares her plan with them. Though initially hesitant, Pratty finally agrees to help. Omi and UV’s friends are stunned. Pratty signals Prerna before leaving.
Elsewhere, Tammy throws things in anger, upset over UV and Katha’s wedding. She refuses to accept the marriage. Ambika arrives and manipulates her into finding a way to separate UV and Katha. Tammy worries Eshwar won’t allow it, but Ambika urges her to figure something out. Tammy agrees and resolves to ruin the ceremony. Ambika is pleased.
Back at the venue, Shlok urges UV to stay for the vidaai, but UV refuses, prioritizing his café. Suddenly, a few police officers arrive, leaving UV shocked. He asks Pratty to talk to them, but to his surprise, Pratty instructs the officers not to let anyone leave until the ceremony is over. UV is furious. Pratty defends his actions. Shlok, Charu, Naina, and Prerna commend Katha for pulling off the impossible. As Katha and UV sit beside each other, UV vents his frustration, while Katha tells him she understands but must fulfil her responsibilities.
