The episode opens with Lakshmi trying to call Karthik, but his phone is unreachable. Meanwhile, Sanjana’s phone starts ringing. Jia instructs Nidhi to collect everyone’s phones to avoid any interruptions. Nidhi complies, gathering all devices and placing them aside. Sensing something is off, Lakshmi tells Umesh that no one is answering her calls and something feels suspicious. She urges the driver to speed up.
At the wedding venue, the pandit asks the bride and groom to stand for the phere. Karthik silently prays that Lakshmi arrives in time. Just then, Lakshmi’s car gets a flat tire. She instructs the driver to fix it quickly. Back at the venue, Karthik suddenly pretends to feel sick and collapses. Gayatri panics and tells Nidhi to call a doctor, then instructs the pandit to pause the ceremony. Jia quickly splashes water on Karthik’s face and demands that he stop the act, change into his sherwani, and marry her. Reluctantly, Karthik gets up and heads to the changing room.
Meanwhile, Umesh informs Lakshmi that the location they checked was a dead end. Lakshmi instructs him to stay there while she rushes home to stop the wedding.
Back at the mandap, the groom returns in a different sherwani. The pandit instructs him to apply sindoor in Jia’s maang. The groom complies. Just then, Lakshmi arrives limping and shouts for them to stop the wedding. Jia smugly announces that the marriage is already complete and sarcastically thanks Lakshmi for witnessing it. Lakshmi responds with equal sarcasm. Jia accuses her of losing her mind. At that moment, Karthik appears and firmly declares that he belongs only to Lakshmi.
Everyone is stunned as the groom lifts his sehra—it’s Raghuveer, not Karthik. Jia is shocked and demands to know how he replaced Karthik. A flashback reveals the last-minute switch between Karthik and Raghuveer. Jia lashes out at Raghuveer, but he mocks her, saying the marriage was a sham and he never actually applied sindoor. Lakshmi shows her the empty maang, proving the ritual was incomplete. The pandit quietly exits.
Enraged, Jia threatens Lakshmi, vowing revenge. Lakshmi stands her ground and declares that she and Karthik are husband and wife—no one can separate them. She tells Jia that her failure lies in never understanding what true love means. Karthik then ties the nuptial chain around Lakshmi’s neck, moving the family to tears. Jia, furious, is restrained by the family. Lakshmi twists Jia’s hand and warns her to stay away from Karthik.
Jia arrogantly claims she owns the house and will throw everyone out. She tries to evict Gayatri, but Umesh intervenes and reveals that the house now legally belongs to him. Jia protests, insisting she never signed any documents. Lakshmi then reveals that she had disguised herself as a delivery agent and tricked Jia into signing the property papers. Umesh praises Lakshmi for taking him to the lawyer in time and successfully foiling Jia’s plans.
