The episode begins with Eshwar defending Katha, telling UV that he is wrongly blaming her and that she never intended to hurt him. Ambika becomes upset with Eshwar for stopping UV from throwing Katha out of the house. Eshwar firmly tells UV that he has no right to expel Katha. Just as UV is about to argue, Shikha steps in, trying to defuse the situation. Both Shikha and Charu plead with UV to let go of his anger and take part in the post-wedding rituals with Katha. However, UV throws the ritual items aside and adamantly refuses. He declares that he will not participate and demands his family choose between him and Katha.
Katha begs UV to forgive her and not punish his family, but he refuses her apology and storms out in anger.
Katha follows him and pleads once again, but UV lashes out at her for claiming his mother was dead. He tells her that he doesn’t accept this marriage and leaves her there. Feeling guilty, Katha blames herself. Shikha, while acknowledging Katha’s mistake, consoles her and brings her back inside.
Chandrika mocks Katha for her failed attempt to bring UV back and harshly criticizes her. Rukmini also expresses disappointment in Katha for hurting UV. Eshwar tells Rukmini to inform Katha that no one in the family truly knows if UV’s mother is alive or dead, as she left years ago. Katha is shocked. She recalls her first argument with UV, where she had made comments about his mother, and now deeply regrets her misunderstanding.
Chandrika tells the family that she doesn’t believe Katha can ever change UV and also criticizes Eshwar. She complains about the incomplete ritual. Despite this, Katha takes the suhaag items and makes a vow to Eshwar that she will one day change UV’s heart. Eshwar, encouraged by her determination, tells the family not to worry, assuring them that UV will return once he calms down. He also urges Katha to go ahead with her first rasoi ritual, and she agrees.
Meanwhile, UV is shown driving recklessly, haunted by Katha’s words about his mother and the events that unfolded. He vows never to accept Katha as his wife. Elsewhere, Ambika instructs Tammy to take advantage of the situation, and Tammy agrees, deciding to find out where UV is.
Back at home, Katha prepares a special dish and happily serves it to everyone as part of the ritual. Ambika arrives, and Shikha confronts her for misleading Katha about UV’s mother, shocking the entire family. Chandrika demands answers, but Ambika pretends to be offended by the accusation. Chandrika scolds Katha for creating tension between Shikha and Ambika. Hurt by the situation, Katha is left in distress.
Ambika announces that she will not be part of the ritual and walks out. Katha runs after her, pleading with her to reconsider, but Ambika remains firm and leaves. Left alone and heartbroken, Katha questions her fate and the future of her marriage.
