Kapil sits at the dining table, casually telling Pratima that Mangal must’ve left early for work without disturbing anyone. He mentions texting her but assumes she’s busy with Akshat since she didn’t respond. Regretfully, he says he should’ve woken up to drop her. But Pratima surprises him — Mangal didn’t leave in the morning, she left in the middle of the night. The guard told her. Alarmed, Kapil immediately cancels his meetings and decides to check on Mangal. Pratima, sensing trouble, nervously offers to accompany him, afraid Mangal might reveal she already knew about the late-night departure.
At the hospital, the doctor informs Adit that Mangal is stable but had consumed a high dose of sleeping pills, causing dizziness. Just then, Kapil and Pratima arrive. Kapil is stunned to see Mangal unconscious. Adit explains the situation, and Kusum adds that Mangal hadn’t woken up, so they called the doctor. When Mangal finally opens her eyes, Kapil rushes to her. The doctor confirms the sleeping pill overdose and recommends proper hydration before leaving.
Adit questions Mangal about the pills, noting how cheerful she appeared at the party. Mangal is taken aback — how does Adit know about the party? He explains that when Akshat fell ill and she didn’t answer his calls, he went to the venue but was thrown out by security. Kapil is furious at the guards’ behavior, but Pratima defends them, citing Adit’s previous outbursts.
Kapil gently asks Mangal if she’s been taking sleeping pills regularly. She denies it and recalls that Pratima had given her a tablet the night before. After taking it, she felt drowsy and left to check on Akshat. Sowmya’s suspicion grows — why would Pratima give her a sleeping pill? When confronted, Pratima insists it was a harmless mistake. But tension rises when they realize Mangal has quietly slipped away.
Mangal heads straight to Akshat’s room, where he asks if he can watch TV. Kapil follows, apologizing for Pratima’s actions and expressing regret for not escorting her home. Mangal brushes it off, simply relieved that Akshat’s fever has gone down. Meanwhile, Sowmya openly accuses Pratima of intentionally harming Mangal.
Kusum confronts Pratima, urging her to treat Mangal like a daughter-in-law instead of an outsider. But Pratima snaps back, reminding Kusum of her own hypocrisy — recalling how she once blamed Mangal for her father’s death and sent her away for months. Their bitter exchange ends with Pratima storming off.
Later, in an unexpected gesture, Pratima presents Mangal with a Shagun ki Thaal and requests that she observe the Teej fast for Kapil. Mangal agrees, unaware of any hidden motives. Meanwhile, her staff informs her that Kapil canceled her client meeting in Ghaziabad. Determined not to back down, she insists on attending it herself. Overhearing this, Adit announces he’ll accompany her — setting the stage for yet another conflict.
