The episode opens with the principal confronting Shashwat, stating that he has falsely accused Anurag. Shashwat questions why he would do such a thing. A committee member reveals that Ishani gave a statement in Anurag’s favor during the college inquiry. Shashwat suggests Ishani may have been pressured to change her testimony, calling her a simple and naive woman who is easily influenced. He insists he doesn’t have time to make baseless accusations.
The principal counters, asking why Ishani would be afraid when she is Mrs. Sengupta, adding that she knows Anurag and doesn’t believe he is the type to intimidate anyone.
Anurag then speculates that Ishani might have lodged the complaint against him under Shashwat’s pressure. The committee member says only Ishani can clarify the truth and directly asks if Shashwat filed a false complaint. Shashwat urges Ishani not to be afraid and to confirm that Anurag harassed her.
Ishani firmly denies ever making such a claim. She accuses Shashwat of instructing her to lie against Anurag and reminds the principal that he had prevented her from defending him earlier. She explains that she refused to destroy someone’s reputation, which is why she spoke the truth at the committee meeting. When Shashwat demands to know if she is calling him a liar, Ishani says she cannot support his falsehoods. Enraged, Shashwat shouts at her and warns Anurag that this isn’t over.
Unfazed, Anurag declares he is not intimidated by Shashwat’s threats. He recalls an earlier party incident, claiming Shashwat’s accusations are revenge for that event, and asserts that truth always prevails over power. When Shashwat challenges him, Anurag calmly responds, “If that’s what you believe, so be it.” A committee member notes that Shashwat is indeed threatening Anurag. The principal questions what he hopes to prove by throwing his weight around, declaring that this is his true nature. Shashwat insists Ishani was harassed, prompting a member to ask why Pihu would enroll in the college if that were true. Shashwat claims it was Pihu’s personal choice.
At that moment, Pihu enters, introducing herself to the principal. She explains she overheard Shashwat shouting and came in. She admits to inviting Anurag to her house party and accuses Shashwat of filing a false complaint solely to humiliate him. When Shashwat calls her words nonsense, Pihu further reveals that he has been stopping Ishani from attending college. The principal says that’s a family issue she cannot interfere in.
Anurag emphasizes that Ishani is a bright student who should be allowed to attend classes. Ishani, however, says she already knows she won’t be able to return after today. She pleads with the principal not to take any action against Anurag, declaring his innocence. The principal says they could take legal action against Shashwat but will refrain out of respect for Ishani. The committee member warns Shashwat not to file another false complaint.
