The episode begins with Chandrika and Eshwar insulting UV’s mother, prompting UV to shout at them to stop. He warns them not to speak a single word against her. Eshwar claims that UV’s mother never loved him, but UV furiously defends her, saying he knows she loved him and Eshwar has no right to question that. When Chandrika continues and even compares Katha with UV’s mother, UV firmly warns his family to stop criticizing his mother and to stop comparing her with Katha. He then challenges Eshwar, declaring that once his mother returns, everyone will learn the real reason she left the house. Katha requests Eshwar to respect UV’s faith in his mother, but Eshwar dismisses her and asks her not to interfere. UV, upset, warns Katha as well before leaving.
Afterward, Eshwar advises Katha not to go out for work, insisting it is the house rule that men work outside while women stay inside to care for the family. Katha tries to reason with him, but Eshwar remains firm and further tells her not to encourage the women of the house, but instead to focus on the purpose for which he brought her there as his daughter-in-law. Hurt, Katha remains silent. Once Eshwar leaves, Chandrika accuses Katha of pretending to be an ideal daughter-in-law and failing to follow her advice. She also blames Mohan and Vandana for Katha’s upbringing. Katha firmly defends her uncle and aunt, admitting her mistake and agreeing to accept punishment. Chandrika orders her to single-handedly arrange the Janmashtami puja the next day. When Shikha questions how Katha will manage, Chandrika ignores her and demands Katha complete the task perfectly. Katha quietly accepts and leaves, while Ambika looks on with satisfaction.
Later, Katha breaks down in Naina’s room. Concerned, Naina asks what happened, and Katha blames UV for everything. Just then, Tammy arrives with Pari and Ash. Tammy taunts Katha for ruining UV’s work, claiming herself to be UV’s special friend. Katha pointedly asks what right Tammy has over her, leaving her speechless. Pari and Ash then remind Katha that they too are daughters of the house but are not allowed to pursue their careers. They criticize her and leave.
