The episode opens with Karthik having a disturbing daydream of someone stabbing Lakshmi from behind. He wakes up shouting her name. Gayatri and Sanjana rush to him, asking what’s wrong. Karthik explains that he feels Lakshmi is in danger. Sanjana suggests lighting a diya in front of Maata Rani for Lakshmi’s protection, but Gayatri scolds her for giving such advice. Karthik lights the diya and prays sincerely for Lakshmi’s safety.
Meanwhile, an old lady finds the injured Lakshmi and brings her home. She applies lep to Lakshmi’s wounds and prays to Maata Rani for her recovery. After she leaves the room, the Goddess appears near Lakshmi’s bed in her form.
Elsewhere, Jia thinks Lakshmi’s chapter is over, believing she can now celebrate her success freely. Devotees pray to Maata Di, acknowledging that whenever sins rise on Earth, the Goddess takes an avatar to restore balance. Maata walks alongside them.
As Jia (thinking herself Imarti) revels, “Finally, Lakshmi is dead, and now Karthik is mine,” the power suddenly goes out. She questions who is there. Goddess Durga appears before her in Lakshmi’s form, holding a hunter’s rope. Jia asks if she’s really alive. Maata replies, “I have come to punish you for your sins,” and strikes Jia with the rope. Jia tries to retaliate by throwing a vase, but it shatters before reaching Maata. Screaming for help, Jia looks again, only to find the Goddess gone. Terrified, she runs downstairs calling for Karthik, accidentally calling him “Jia” before correcting herself to “Imarti.”
Karthik arrives, and Jia claims Lakshmi is trying to kill her, begging for help. Karthik and Gayatri ask her to show what happened. She leads them to her room, but everything appears perfectly normal, and her injuries have vanished. Sanjana remarks, “Lakshmi went to Vaishnodevi, why are you lying?” Gayatri suggests it might have been a dream and advises her to rest. Jia wonders, “Has Lakshmi become a ghost haunting me?” She sees Lakshmi again and urges them to look, but no one else can see her.
Meanwhile, the real Lakshmi stirs, moving her hand and calling Karthik’s name. The old lady witnesses Lakshmi recovering and prays to Maata Di for her protection.
The next day, Karthik visits the area where Lakshmi is being treated to scout a location for his upcoming concert. The manager praises it as a perfect spot, but Karthik complains about the heat. When his water bottle runs empty, he approaches a nearby house—the same one where Lakshmi is staying. The old lady invites him in and offers him water, asking if he is from the city. Karthik explains he came from Delhi to check the location for a song shoot. As he drinks, he notices someone lying on the bed and, curious, moves closer, about to pull back the curtain to see who it is.
