The episode begins with Anurag asking Ishani if she will return to his life after divorcing Shashwat. Ishani gives him a positive reply, leaving him overjoyed. However, Anurag warns her that Shashwat will never agree to a divorce easily. Ishani, determined, says she is ready for a tough battle since she knows Shashwat won’t agree to a mutual separation. Before leaving for college, Anurag lovingly applies kala tikka on her to protect her.
Meanwhile, Nandini questions Shashwat about Ishani’s whereabouts, but he replies that he doesn’t care. Raj Didi advises him to ensure Ishani never comes back, while Pihu remarks that it’s not difficult to guess where she is staying. Shashwat says he tolerated Ishani only for Pihu’s sake, but now he regrets it. Pihu also regrets trusting Ishani. Nandini reminds her that she had warned her against Ishani. Shashwat fumes that Ishani must pay for the humiliation he has suffered because of her and admits feeling defeated. Nandini insists that it is Ishani who has truly lost, as no one—including Anurag—will ever accept her.
Raj Didi adds that Anurag never deserved Pihu and feels relieved that Pihu escaped his “trap.” Nandini supports her, saying Anurag is not trustworthy and will never accept Ishani.
At Anurag’s house, his mother serves food to Ishani. Touched by the taste, Ishani recalls her own mother and gets emotional. Anurag’s mother comforts her, saying she considers Ishani her own daughter. Ishani offers to help with household chores, but Anurag’s mother gently tells her that Anurag loves her deeply and she is proud of his values—he never bows down to lies. Ishani then asks if she harbors any resentment, since Anurag has suffered a lot because of her. His mother reassures her that none of it was her fault. Ishani admits she should have come earlier, but was too busy fighting her destiny.
Back at Shashwat’s place, Raj Didi pushes him to finalize the divorce. Shashwat refuses, saying Ishani will demand alimony, which he has no intention of giving. Raj Didi tells him not to waste time, but Shashwat vents his frustration, feeling helpless. Nandini speculates that Ishani must be staying with Anurag. Shashwat firmly declares he won’t grant her a divorce, ensuring she can’t marry Anurag. Nandini warns him that if something happens to him, Ishani will automatically inherit his property. Raj Didi urges him to end the matter quickly, but Shashwat insists on waiting to see Ishani’s next move and decides to consult his lawyer.
Later, Ishani asks Anurag’s mother if she has a problem with her son marrying a divorcee. His mother smiles and says she herself is a single mother, so how could she not support another woman? She adds that Ishani’s sweetness explains why Anurag never married anyone else. Ishani, overwhelmed, hugs her tightly.
