The episode opens with Rishi confessing his love to Jhanak. He explains that love comes in different forms and promises to always fight for her. Jhanak laughs, and Rishi asks if she thinks he is joking. Jhanak tells him to think only of Aditi, as he cannot defend her in front of Aditi, making his words futile. Rishi admits his mistakes toward Jhanak and encourages her to fight for herself. He says he will be happy if she succeeds. Jhanak urges him to consider Aditi’s happiness, but Rishi insists he wants the truth to prevail. He advises her to focus on her studies and then leaves.
Meanwhile, Arshi warns Choton not to interfere in her affairs, arguing that he does not believe the villagers are lying. Choton questions why the villagers would lie. Aniruddh intervenes, asking them to stop fighting. He asserts that Parashar is definitely Jhanak’s father, but Jhanak is not his daughter. He suggests Arshi bring Jhanak if she wants, and she asks him to accompany her. Arshi instructs a servant to clean the outhouse and thanks Aniruddh for his support.
The next day, Aniruddh and Arshi arrive at Rishi’s house, where Dadabhai warmly welcomes them. Tanushri mentions she had anticipated their visit. Payal questions why they brought so many gifts, and Arshi explains that it is their first visit after marriage. Dadabhai remarks that they always bring gifts, and Arshi teasingly tells him to learn to accept expensive ones. Indumati invites them to eat, listing traditional dishes she prepared, but Arshi politely declines.
Neelu calls Jhanak, who arrives promptly. She asks Jhanak to bring Aditi, and Indumati confirms this. Neelu goes inside, and Aditi comes downstairs, delighted to see her parents. Arshi inquires about Rishi, and Aditi explains that he is out for important work and will return for lunch. Indumati offers to serve something for them.
Arshi decides to have coffee and scolds Jhanak for standing silently, instructing her to heat the water. Putul speculates that Jhanak may not know how to make Arshi’s coffee, but Arshi clarifies she never asked her to. Jhanak mentions she can make many unique dishes they’ve never tasted, which offends Arshi. Dadabhai remarks that Arshi is insulting Jhanak, while Abhimanyu notes that Dadabhai always supports the weaker party.
Aniruddh asks Arshi to share her thoughts. She suggests Jhanak stay with them until her exams and mentions that they feel incomplete without Aditi. She proposes that Jhanak stay in the outhouse, and Indumati approves. Aniruddh adds that they will take Jhanak with them if no one objects. Aditi questions why anyone would object, while Putul suggests asking Jhanak. Arshi dismisses this, arguing that Jhanak is already being offered a place to stay, and Neelu agrees.
Dadabhai reminds everyone that Jhanak cannot be forced. Jhanak asks if she is expected to stay as a maid in her father’s house. Aditi tells her to remain silent. Jhanak asserts that she will not accept Aniruddh as her father and has the right to refuse staying as a maid. Arshi asks if Jhanak wants to stay in her house, and Jhanak clarifies she did not say that. Aniruddh reassures her she will have a separate room and face no problems, but Jhanak insists he should not discuss the matter with her. Arshi questions why no one is stopping Jhanak, who responds that she has no interest in staying at Arshi’s house, just as she never wanted to stay at Rishi’s.
Rishi arrives and asks Jhanak what happened. Aditi informs him that her parents want Jhanak to stay with them and help care for Bablu and Anjana. She warns Jhanak of legal consequences if Aniruddh is insulted. Rishi reminds everyone that the law applies equally and that Jhanak can also take legal action.
Jhanak reiterates that she does not wish to stay there. Dadabhai explains that he brought her there so no one could take her by force. Aditi decides to stay at her mother’s house until Jhanak moves. Rishi questions why Jhanak cannot stay, and Aditi asks why he is arguing for a third person. Payal challenges Jhanak to prove Aniruddh is her father, but Jhanak refuses, trusting only her mother.
Abhimanyu tells Rishi to stay with Aditi in the police quarters. Jhanak agrees to go to Aniruddh’s house, and Rishi tells her she can stay if she wants.
