The episode begins with the Shahs and Kotharis offering prayers together. Anupama notices Mahi holding Gautam’s hand, leaving her confused. Rahi too seems puzzled after seeing Prem’s photo on the phone. Mahi tells Gautam that since she has held his finger, he must now hold her hand for life.
Anupama thanks Vasundhara for arranging such a grand puja. Vasundhara replies that the celebration had to be special because Anupama is leaving today. Shocked, Anupama asks what she means. Vasundhara explains that Anupama’s dreams and duties await her elsewhere and assures her not to worry about the family. Anupama says she may go away, but she’ll always be there when her children need her. Vasundhara insists that the children are grown and no longer need constant care, but Anupama gently reminds her that a mother’s presence is needed at every age. As Vasundhara prepares to bid her farewell, Rahi sneezes, which Vasundhara calls a bad omen. Anupama calms her, saying nothing bad can happen when people are cautious and loving.
Elsewhere, Ishani tries to blackmail Raja for money. Raja mocks her attempt, saying he’s not a fool. Ishani panics, fearing others will trouble her if she doesn’t pay up. When Pari spots them together, they quickly make excuses, leaving Pari suspicious.
Before leaving, Anupama advises her family to stay united and look after each other. She also prays for Mahi’s happiness and remarriage. Later, Anupama sees Gautam offering Mahi a glass of water. Prarthana warns Anupama that Mahi has fallen into Gautam’s trap and urges her to protect her.
Anupama confronts Mahi and slaps her in anger. Mahi accuses Prarthana of poisoning Anupama’s mind. Anupama tells Mahi to stop talking foolishly and open her eyes to Gautam’s true intentions. She questions how Mahi can love a man like him. Prarthana too warns Mahi about Gautam’s deceitful nature.
Anupama tries to explain the difference between love and obsession, telling Mahi that she and Gautam have no future together. Mahi refuses to listen and boldly confesses her love for Gautam. Prarthana warns her again, but Mahi accuses her of jealousy. She asks Anupama why Gautam shouldn’t get a second chance. Despite Anupama’s repeated attempts to make her understand, Mahi remains stubborn and declares her decision to marry him.
Just then, Gautam arrives and interrupts their confrontation. Mahi immediately leaves with him, ignoring Anupama and Prarthana’s pleas. Prarthana urges Anupama to stop Mahi before it’s too late, but Anupama sadly says Mahi won’t listen and that she can’t let her destroy her own life.
