Today’s episode begins with Prem avoiding Rahi. Leela notices Prem’s mood and asks whether he has eaten sour nuts. Prem says no, prompting Leela to ask him to smile. Anupama signals Leela, while she continues to support Rahi emotionally.
Meanwhile, Mahi feels like an outsider and wonders why she should receive Anupama’s love. She says that she does not want Anupama’s affection. Anupama tells Rahi that she hopes the next 24 hours will bring happiness back to their families.
Khyati asks Ansh to call Sujata and make sure Pransi goes to sleep. Anupama becomes emotional, but Digvijay manages to make her smile.
Vasundhara prepares for the veneration and notices Digvijay. She objects to his participation, saying that the ritual is meant for the family and an outsider should not take part. Gautam defends Digvijay and says that he is part of Anupama’s family.
Anupama, however, asks Gautam to stay away from the veneration because he is an outsider to both families. She says that devotion should be equal for everyone. Vasundhara reminds everyone that the families have reunited only for the next 24 hours and everything will return to normal once the veneration ends.
The Shahs and Kotharis pray together for Pransi. During the ritual, Prem removes the family photograph from the wall, leaving Anupama shocked.
Gautam secretly records the two families praying together. Later, Leela sends Mahi to bring something. Gautam follows her and begins manipulating her emotionally. He tells Mahi that the Shah family will never truly accept her and asks why she continues to stay where she feels unwanted.
Gautam tells Mahi to return and reclaim everything she believes she has lost. He reminds her that she is a stranger to the Shahs, especially to Anupama.
However, Mahi refuses to fall for his manipulation again. She gives Gautam a strong reply and says that he cannot fool her a second time. She understands that Gautam is only concerned because of Pransi. Mahi says that Pransi deserves to be with Ansh and Prerna. Although she is angry with Anupama, she refuses to become emotionally weak and allow Gautam to manipulate her again.
Anupama worries that Gautam may once again influence Mahi and destroy her life. She asks Digvijay to speak with Mahi. Digvijay questions Mahi about Gautam, but she avoids answering.
Digvijay then warns Gautam to stay away from the Shah family and Anupama. Gautam mocks him and asks whether Hasmuk has officially made him his son-in-law. Digvijay firmly warns him again.
Gautam, however, is secretly pleased because he has managed to record the confrontation. He plans to send the video to the makers and create further chaos.
Later, the priest asks both families to protect the sacred flame. Soon, Anupama and Prem face an unexpected backlash when the media arrives.
Journalists question Anupama and Prem about allegedly deceiving the viewers. They ask whether their animosity was fake and whether they have reunited only because of the competition. They also question them about performing the veneration together.
Shruti and Gautam are delighted to see their plan creating the desired confusion.
The media continues bombarding Anupama and Prem with questions. Gautam deliberately intervenes and tries to make the situation even more complicated. Mahi wonders why Gautam is constantly trying to portray himself as the hero.
Finally, the show organizer steps in and clarifies that the two teams have not actually reunited permanently. He explains that they have come together only because of a task related to the competition.
Another organizer adds that they cannot reveal the details of the upcoming task. He confirms that Anupama and Prem have temporarily reunited for the competition.
Anupama tries to clarify that their reunion is actually connected to Pransi. Prem then asks the organizers whether they should send the media away after the competition details have already been discussed.
The organizers say that the damage has already been done and they will handle the media situation.
The families are then shocked to learn that the organizers have decided to use the next 24 hours as part of the competition as well.
Anupama tries to object, but the organizer warns that both teams have breached their contract. He says that the organizers have the authority to eliminate both teams and even take further action.
The organizer then reveals another major condition. Cameras will be installed throughout the house, except inside the bedrooms, so that the participants can be monitored.
Finally, the organizers explain the next task. Two contestants will be paired together. One person will be responsible for giving instructions, while the other person will have to follow those instructions. The new task threatens to create even more conflict between the Shahs and Kotharis.
