When Mangal cannot find a lighter to ignite the stove, Sowmya secretly realizes she hid it and gives her a matchbox instead. Using a clever trick, Mangal lights the stove, amusing everyone. Bhabhiji praises her resourcefulness, while Sowmya warns that the real challenge is yet to come. Mangal carefully controls the water flow and stirs the soup, earning applause from the audience. She then begins preparing chawal.
Bhabhiji tells Sowmya that Mangal’s successful completion of the task could reduce her points. Sowmya asks Mangal to make roti instead of chawal, but Mangal insists she cannot change tasks midway. Sowmya presses her point, and Mangal skillfully kneads the dough with one hand and prepares the roti. Other contestants admire her courage and determination.
As Mangal nears the end of the challenge, Sowmya tries to sabotage her. Mangal discovers the fridge has no power while storing her kulfi, and Sowmya places marbles on the floor to make her fall. Undeterred, Mangal skillfully avoids the obstacles and completes all her dishes on time, leaving Sowmya frustrated.
Bhabhiji tastes Mangal’s food and commends her, declaring that she has proven her perseverance and promoting her to the next round. While Sowmya walks away angrily, marbles roll across the floor, causing Mangal to slip. A gas can falls, spilling liquid that injures her eyes, creating a tense moment.
Adit receives a call from his boss and rushes home. Mangal struggles to open her eyes, while Ritu reminds Sowmya that Mangal had saved her and her daughter. Sowmya coldly remarks that good things happen to good people and bad things to bad people. Bhabhiji scolds the contestants for forgetting humanity and instructs Sowmya to take Mangal to the hospital, despite her protests.
Meanwhile, Adit arrives wearing a mask, giving a comical excuse for hiding his identity as Bhabhiji’s PA. The doctor examines Mangal and advises strict care: eye drops every two hours and no cooking or going home alone until fully recovered. Bhabhiji arranges for Adit to accompany Mangal home safely, though he worries about her recognizing his voice and discovering his secret role.
Throughout this, Sowmya relaxes in her room, applying a face pack and dancing, ignoring Mangal’s condition. Kusum, concerned, calls Mangal’s name to give her medicine, hoping she is alright.
