The episode opens with Karan visiting a temple. Unsure how to perform the pooja, he decides to leave, but a woman arrives and helps him complete the rituals. Karan prays sincerely for Lakshmi’s recovery. After returning home, he ties a raksha dhaga on Lakshmi’s hand, which Dadi quietly notices. Karan then falls asleep on a chair beside her.
The next morning, Karan wakes up to find Lakshmi missing from the bed. Panicked, he rushes downstairs and sees her standing with her luggage. He asks where she is going. Lakshmi calmly tells him she’s feeling better and is leaving for Delhi. Karan, shocked, reminds her that she was just stabbed and questions how she can even think of traveling. Dadi joins them and asks Lakshmi the same. Karan sarcastically remarks that Lakshmi must be a “superwoman” to travel in such a condition.
Lakshmi thanks Dadi for her support through difficult moments and says that since Dadi knows the truth about her marriage with Karan, she should allow her to leave. Dadi insists the marriage is real and urges her to stay, but Lakshmi refuses. Karan, irritated, tells Dadi to let her go, adding that he’ll find a “modern bahu” instead.
Lakshmi takes Dadi’s blessings and heads out, but her saree pallu catches on Karan’s watch. She frees it and leaves. Dadi recalls the pandit’s warning that Lakshmi must remain close to Karan for his protection. Karan tells Dadi not to worry and asks her to go upstairs. As Dadi climbs the stairs, she suddenly collapses. At the same moment, Karan watches Lakshmi drive away, and Lakshmi sees him in her rear-view mirror before she leaves.
Karan pretends not to care about Lakshmi. When he goes downstairs, he finds Dadi unconscious and panics. She weakly whispers “Lakshmi” before fainting again. Later, the doctor informs Karan that he brought Dadi to Delhi just in time, following Dr. Gupta’s advice. Karan begins to wonder if Lakshmi is also in Delhi. Vyom escorts the doctor out. Dadi urges Karan to see the signs God is giving him and to acknowledge his bond with Lakshmi. Karan insists Lakshmi left on her own and that he doesn’t want to think about her anymore. He walks away. Dadi, however, clearly sees Karan’s concern for Lakshmi, even if he refuses to admit it.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi asks Sweta why she followed her to Delhi, leaving her job behind. Sweta says she no longer wants to work for the murderer Barkha and wants a fresh start with Lakshmi in Delhi, where they can look for new jobs. Lakshmi agrees and asks her to unpack. Suddenly, they hear a girl screaming. They step outside and overhear girls whispering that the residents of Room No. 10 always go missing, and it seems Anjali will disappear too. The warden scolds them for spreading rumors and claims Anjali left the hostel in the morning. The girls insist the scream was hers and that four girls have already gone missing. Warden Madhu warns them not to scare Lakshmi and Sweta and sends them away. Sweta finds the warden’s behavior suspicious, but Lakshmi asks her not to overthink and sends her inside while she goes to buy vegetables.
Lakshmi then visits Kartik’s home, only to find the house locked and abandoned. A vegetable vendor informs her that Kartik’s family vacated the house after his death. Shocked and worried, Lakshmi turns to leave when a red dupatta suddenly falls over her. As she pulls it away, she sees a masked, bandaged figure standing before her.
