In today’s episode, Prarthana apologizes to Ansh, expressing that her family doesn’t know how to interact with her in-laws, and asks for his forgiveness. Mahi comments that Gautam arrived at just the right moment. Gautam, ever confident, responds that he always enters at the right time and hands a bouquet to Prarthana. Ansh, not impressed, asks Gautam if the bouquet is for them. He tosses it aside, revealing that Prarthana doesn’t like lilies. Meanwhile, Anupama prays to God, fearing that the calmness everyone is pretending to show might soon erupt into chaos.
Preet is seen speaking with a woman, mentioning that while Anupama is at the baby shower, Vasundhara is likely to stir up trouble. They spot some men taking measurements, which leads Preet and the other chawl residents to discover that their homes are set to be demolished. They raise their concerns, but the inspection officer, under Rajini’s orders, lies, claiming they are inspecting another chawl. The residents breathe a sigh of relief.
Vasundhara asks Prarthana to perform the aarti. Prarthana requests Ansh’s support. Prerna, watching, says she wishes she had a big family like theirs. Rahi and Prem overhear her, and Prerna quickly adds that she won’t be staying for long. The aarti begins, and during the puja, Prerna interrupts. Prem steps in, explaining that he had to support Prerna or she would have dropped the lamp. Rahi agrees that Prem did the right thing.
Prarthana and Ansh pray to God, seeking the strength to reveal their decision. Raja and Pari decide to perform the aarti, but Vasundhara tries to stop them. Parag intervenes, and Vasundhara accuses Anupama of distracting her from the ritual.
Mita, ever the schemer, tells Pari to stay away from Raja, suggesting she will hire Pari to design Raja’s wedding dress, as Pari is a designer. Anupama warns Mita to allow Raja and Pari to make their own choices. Vasundhara, growing more irate, accuses Anupama and her family of being insolent and even drags Ishani into the argument, questioning Anupama’s sense of shame. Anupama stands her ground, calmly replying that neither she nor her daughters have anything to be ashamed of. Pakhi, angered by Vasundhara’s insults towards Ishani, joins the argument. Anupama urges everyone to respect Prarthana and Ansh’s function and not ruin it with their bickering.
Leela tells Hasmukh, Paritosh, and Kinjal that despite their efforts to show kindness to the Kotharis, they always find ways to undermine them. Kinjal remarks that Anupama is handling Vasundhara’s accusations with grace and giving her a fitting response. Vasundhara, continuing her tirade, accuses Anupama of ruining the function. Parag, however, defends Anupama, reminding Vasundhara that she is just as responsible for the chaos. Vasundhara, refusing to back down, declares that the baby will stay with them before Anupama can manipulate Prarthana.
Vasundhara insists that Gautam will sit with Prarthana during the ritual. Anupama warns Gautam to stay away from Prarthana and Ansh. Mahi reassures Gautam, telling him not to worry, as the baby will eventually come to them. Gautam, determined, declares that he will take the baby because it rightfully belongs to him.
As the Kotharis proceed with the ritual for Prarthana’s baby shower, Vasundhara orders Rahi to begin. Anupama ties the auspicious thread around Prarthana, and Vasundhara, ever critical, taunts Anupama for not wearing gold. Anupama, unfazed, delivers a sharp response, and Parag chimes in, asking Vasundhara if, even without gold, Anupama doesn’t have a lecture to offer.
Anupama, undeterred, gives a heartfelt speech about motherhood, declaring that a mother never retires from her role. She then invites everyone to continue the ritual for Ansh and Prarthana. Prerna announces that the ritual is over, but both Prem and Anupama insist that there are still games and dancing to be enjoyed.
