Anupama Today Episode 20 June 2026
Today’s episode begins with Ansh arguing with Leela about inviting the Kotharis to the wedding. He insists that the Kotharis never bring happiness and will only create problems during the celebrations. Leela, however, believes they should be invited for the sake of Rahi and Pari. Ansh points out that Pari will attend because she is pregnant, but Rahi will be the one caught in an uncomfortable situation. He mocks Prem, saying that he will stand around with a gloomy expression and spoil the atmosphere.
Hasmuk reminds everyone that it is their responsibility to invite the Kotharis, and whether they choose to attend is entirely up to them. Anupama agrees with both Hasmuk and Leela.
Meanwhile, Paritosh and Pakhi are convinced that the Kotharis will not accept the invitation. Anupama questions Paritosh, asking why he did not stop Pakhi from pleading with Vasundhara during the issue involving Ishani and Banku. Prerna then expresses her wish to invite Prem to the wedding. She explains that Prem is her only friend who could attend the wedding from her side. Taking her feelings into account, Anupama decides to personally invite the Kotharis.
Elsewhere, Ishani remains upset with Pakhi and Paritosh. Banku notices her frustration and asks why she is venting her anger on curry leaves. In her emotional state, Ishani suggests that they should simply run away and get married to silence everyone. However, Banku refuses to go against the family. He promises that he will become a husband everyone can be proud of and also make Anupama proud as her brother. Ishani advises Banku to stand up for himself whenever Pakhi or Paritosh insults him. She assures him that she, along with Digvijay and Anupama, will always support him, but emphasizes that he must learn to speak up for himself. Banku understands her point.
Later, Anupama visits the Kothari house along with Hasmuk, Leela, and Prerna. Meeta asks Anupama the reason for her visit. Anupama replies that she has every right to be there, just as Vasundhara had every right to visit their house and interfere in Ishani and Banku’s marriage matter. She also sarcastically thanks Vasundhara for sharing her opinions on the issue.
Prem immediately rejects Anupama’s invitation and asks Rahi to return the wedding card. Despite Anupama’s efforts to convince the family, Prem firmly declares that no one from the Kothari household will attend Ansh and Prerna’s wedding, except for Pranshi. Prerna becomes emotional and asks Prem why he is abandoning her on her wedding day when he is her only friend. Turning to Shruti, she says that the misunderstanding between her and Prem happened because of her. Shruti counters by accusing Prerna of betraying Prem.
Anupama calmly states that they have fulfilled their duty by extending the invitation and that the final decision rests with the Kotharis.
Prem then sets a condition. He says the family will attend the wedding only if Digvijay publicly apologizes to him in front of everyone. Khyati immediately points out that Prem was at fault that day, not Digvijay. Anil also urges Prem to let go of the past and move forward. However, Prem insists that he cannot forget what happened. Gautam supports Prem and says that Digvijay should not only apologize but also beg for forgiveness.
Hasmuk strongly defends Digvijay and asks Vasundhara to guide Prem and help him understand the difference between right and wrong. He then asks Pari to bring Pranshi and tells the Kotharis that the choice of attending the wedding is entirely theirs.
Afterward, Anupama tells Prem that if Digvijay had truly been at fault, he would have apologized without any persuasion. She firmly declares that Digvijay will not bow down before Prem because she knows Prem is the one who is guilty.
Back at home, Pakhi and Paritosh complain that after so much confrontation and insult, there is no reason for the Kotharis to attend the wedding. Meanwhile, Anupama decides not to tell Digvijay about Prem’s condition for attending the ceremony.
