The episode begins with Sheetal forcing Shivprasad to fill her hairline with vermillion. She tells him that she has been applying vermillion herself all this time, but it never made her feel like his wife. Pleading with him to accept her, she falsely claims that he is alive only because of her efforts.
However, Shivprasad tells her that he wants to return home. Sheetal warns him that people will try to kill him if he goes back. Shivprasad replies that no one will recognize him and insists that he wants to meet his children. He reminds Sheetal that he had promised to marry her only if she proved that Shalini was wrong. He warns her that if Shalini turns out to be innocent and Sheetal has been lying to him, he will not spare anyone. Furious, he gives Sheetal a stern warning.
Determined to return home, Shivprasad refuses to change his mind. He says that he desperately wants to see his children. Sheetal offers to accompany him, reminding him that he is still recovering. Shivprasad responds that his broken heart hurts more than any physical injury.
He reveals that he had been investigating who met Vicky Sharma in Manali. However, the arrival of an inspector interrupted his inquiry before he could get any answers. Shivprasad firmly believes that Shalini could never betray him and vows to uncover the truth. Sheetal then assures him that she will arrange a flight for him.
Meanwhile, Piyu and Chintu spend time coloring drawings while missing their father terribly. Chintu reminds Piyu that it is Father’s Day, but their father is not with them. Piyu sadly says that they no longer have a father. Refusing to believe it, Chintu insists that Shivprasad cannot be dead and is still alive. He tells Piyu that if their father does not return by night, only then will he accept the possibility. He continues to reassure her that their father will come back.
Just then, Vicky Sharma arrives at the house and asks the children where Shalini is. Piyu informs him that her mother has gone to the market. Vicky presents several expensive gifts to the children and tells them that he bought them because it is Father’s Day.
Piyu tells him that her father is not there. Taking advantage of the moment, Vicky says that he is going to marry Shalini and become their father. Chintu immediately objects and warns him that his mother will never marry him.
At the same time, Shivprasad arrives at the house in disguise. Pretending to be a plumber, he claims that he has come to repair the toilet flush. As Vicky continues trying to manipulate the children, Shivprasad watches from a distance and feels heartbroken seeing the state of his family.
After pretending to complete the repair work, Shivprasad questions Vicky about his presence in the house. Vicky openly declares that he is planning to marry Shalini.
Shivprasad responds by pointing out that people believe Shalini’s husband is dead and that a case has been filed against her. He remarks that Vicky Sharma appears to be the third person involved in the matter. Offended, Vicky tells him to stay within his limits and begins speaking arrogantly.
Unable to control his anger, Shivprasad slaps Vicky and grabs him by the collar. Tightening his grip, he warns Vicky never to speak improperly in front of the children. He then comforts Piyu and Chintu, assuring them that their father will return one day.
Soon, Shalini returns home and finds the neighbors gossiping about her. She confronts Vicky and asks what he is doing there. In front of Shivprasad, Vicky openly flirts with Shalini and urges her to close Shivprasad’s case. He confidently declares that he will marry her the very next day and take responsibility for her children.
Hearing Vicky’s words, Shivprasad is left heartbroken.
