The episode begins with Arjun falling ill after enduring the harsh punishment at the Gurukul. Worried about his brother’s condition, Bheem approaches Guru Dronacharya and requests more food for everyone.
However, Dronacharya refuses to make any exceptions. He gives the students only a small portion of fruits and instructs his wife not to offer them any extra food or help.
The limited meal disappoints both the Pandavs and the Kauravs. Despite their hunger, Dronacharya remains firm, believing that a true warrior must learn to survive with very little. According to him, discipline, endurance, and self-control are more important than comfort.
Meanwhile, Ashwathama arrives at the royal palace of Hastinapur, where the elders warmly welcome him and bless him.
The king presents Ashwathama with a sacred pot of Sanjivani juice as a mark of respect. Shakuni also greets him and offers special gifts, further strengthening their bond.
Back at the Gurukul, the Pandavs and Kauravs divide the available fruits equally among themselves. Even after sharing the food, everyone remains hungry.
The Pandavs become especially concerned about Bheem, whose large build requires much more food than the others. Understanding his brother’s need, Yudhishthir selflessly gives his own share to Bheem.
On the other side, Duryodhan also divides his portion among his brothers, showing his concern for the Kauravs.
Unknown to the students, Dronacharya is intentionally putting them through these hardships to prepare them for their future battle against the mighty giant Bantal, who possesses extraordinary strength.
Still hungry, Yudhishthir and Duryodhan head into the forest in search of something to eat.
During the journey, both brothers realize the heavy responsibility of being the eldest in the family. Despite being rivals, they briefly understand each other’s struggles and the duty of protecting their younger siblings.
Elsewhere in Hastinapur, Gandhari confronts Shakuni over his behavior toward the Pandavs. She expresses her disappointment, believing he has treated them unfairly.
Shakuni defends himself by reminding Gandhari of the humiliation and injustice once suffered by the Kingdom of Gandhar. However, Gandhari refuses to accept revenge as an excuse for his actions.
To reassure his sister, Shakuni promises that he will never poison her sons against the Pandavs, even though his resentment still remains deep inside.
As night falls at the Gurukul, both the Pandavs and Kauravs struggle to sleep because of countless mosquitoes.
After the Pandavs cleverly find a way to protect themselves, the giant Bantal raises the difficulty by unleashing a massive swarm of glowing fireflies.
The unexpected challenge leaves the young warriors stunned, making survival in the forest even more difficult.
