The episode begins with Rahi and Prem struggling with the smoke while trying to light the stove. Rahi points out that the wood is wet and corrects Prem. Vasundhara also says the wood will not burn that way. Anupama quietly guides Rahi and Prem without making it obvious.
The host announces that both teams have successfully lit their stoves. However, he points out that Prem has wasted most of his firewood and wonders if he will be able to finish the dish.
Mahi questions Prem for wasting the wood and reminds him that she is there to win. Prem replies that he also wants to win. He asks Mahi to stop talking and focus on her work.
Both Anupama’s and Prem’s teams continue the challenge. Anupama indirectly helps Prem’s team understand how to use the mortar and pestle properly.
The host asks the judges for their opinion as both teams struggle with the traditional cooking method. Sikander says they will wait until the dishes are completed. The judges also wonder how each team will manage with only one stove.
Digvijay comes up with a smart idea and builds a second stove. Prem’s team is left shocked, while Anupama’s team cheers loudly. Pakhi remarks that Anupama’s team seems to be taking the lead.

Meanwhile, Prerna accidentally breaks the earthen pot while helping Anupama. Anupama worries about the dish. Mahi says that if she had made the same mistake, Anupama would have scolded her.
Rahi defends Anupama, but Mahi argues that Rahi cannot understand because she is Anupama’s favourite. Anupama calmly repairs the cracked pot. Leela praises her presence of mind.
Vasundhara says Anupama deserves credit because she knows how to cook on a traditional stove. However, she also points out that Prem is using one for the first time, so his effort should be appreciated as well.
Finally, the judges taste both teams’ dishes. They praise Anupama’s team for their performance. Manpreet asks Anupama whether she has cooked on a traditional stove before.
Anupama credits Hasmuk’s mother for teaching her how to cook on a stove. Leela gets irritated after hearing Anupama praise Moti Baa.
The judges criticize Prem’s dish, saying it was prepared in panic. Prem feels disappointed with the low score.
Pakhi and Paritosh discuss that Mahi seems unlucky because Anupama’s team had earlier lost a point because of her, and now Prem’s team has also suffered.
Gautam tells Vasundhara that Mahi is affecting Prem’s team’s performance. Anil immediately asks Gautam to stop acting like an expert on their family matters. Prem remains upset over the poor marks.
