The episode begins with Ramgopal reminding Malti that he had already warned her that what she was doing was wrong, but she refused to listen. Bua scolds Malti for slapping Sudha. Avinash defends Malti, saying Sudha insulted Aparajita and Aradhya, so she deserved it. Aradhya says raising a hand on someone is never right.
Aparajita asks everyone to calm down and gives Malti some water. She admits Malti made a mistake but says Sudha also insulted her badly. Bua criticizes Aparajita for defending Malti. Aparajita clarifies that she is not justifying the slap, but asks how any mother could tolerate insults against her daughter. She adds that Malti has already realized her mistake.
Malti breaks down in tears and says she has embarrassed the entire family. She tells Aparajita that she never imagined things would go this far. Aparajita asks what made Sudha so angry.
Malti recalls how Rakshit informed her about the engagement and explains everything that happened between her and Sudha. Aparajita says Sudha is not the first person to judge her without knowing her struggles. She feels Malti should have spoken to Rakshit instead of reacting in anger. Now, because of the slap, their relationship has fallen apart.
Meanwhile, the doctor examines Sudha while everyone waits anxiously outside. After coming out, the doctor is stopped by Sheela before Rakshit can speak further. Sheela later informs Rakshit that Sudha has suffered a mild heart attack. Everyone rushes inside. Rakshit blames himself, saying his actions caused Sudha so much stress that she suffered a heart attack.
Elsewhere, Aradhya calls Vivaan and requests him to listen to her once. Vivaan informs her about Sudha’s heart attack and warns her never to contact him again before disconnecting the call. Aradhya quietly decides that she must somehow convince him.
Aparajita overhears her and confronts Aradhya. She reminds her that she broke off her engagement with Rohan because she wanted to move on with Vivaan. Aparajita questions whether Aradhya feels no shame in deceiving everyone and accuses her of playing with two relationships. She asks her to stop before Rohan gets hurt again.
Aradhya defends herself, saying Vivaan has been pursuing her from the beginning. She adds that Vivaan only called to inform her about Sudha’s heart attack, which is why she spoke to him.
Later, Aparajita reaches the Bharadwaj house. Mohit asks her to leave, but she explains that she came after hearing about Sudha’s heart attack and wants to apologize to both Sudha and Rakshit.
Rakshit politely calls her “Aparajita ji” and says there is no need for an apology. He asks her to leave. Aparajita insists that she knows where everything went wrong.
Rakshit takes her outside and tells her that he should never have fallen in love with her. He says their paths are different from today onward and that there is no relationship left between them, not even friendship.
Heartbroken, Aparajita reminds him that he once promised never to leave her. Rakshit replies that he lied and walks back inside. Aparajita bursts into tears and cries out that she will not leave until he talks to her.
Meanwhile, Sudha questions Sheela about lying regarding the heart attack. Sheela says the lie is necessary to save Rakshit. Sudha admits she does not understand the plan but says she only wants Aparajita to leave Rakshit’s life forever.
Outside, Aparajita stands in the pouring rain while Rakshit watches her from his room. Both recall their happy memories together and silently cry.
Arvind urges Rakshit to speak to Aparajita, reminding him that she has done nothing wrong. Rakshit agrees but says loving Aparajita was his biggest mistake.
He says he loves both Sudha and Aparajita, yet both are suffering because of him. Rakshit sadly admits that, once again, love has lost before a mother’s wishes because Sudha will never accept Aparajita as her daughter-in-law.
Arvind asks whether Rakshit even knows what Sudha said to Malti. Rakshit refuses to hear it. He says he cannot tolerate any insult towards his mother, no matter how much he loves Aparajita.
