The episode begins with a neighbour hoping that her daughter, Ritu, will get a husband as good as Aarambhi’s.
Aarambhi immediately disagrees. Ritu’s mother asks why she is saying that and whether she is unhappy in her marriage.
Aarambhi says she only hopes Ritu gets a better marriage than hers.
The neighbours praise Aarambhi for being lucky enough to marry into the Tandon family.
Balbir corrects them and says the Tandon family is actually blessed to have a daughter-in-law like Aarambhi. He praises her warmly.
Aarambhi says she will go and bring Tulsi leaves. However, Manju stops her and says it is considered inauspicious to pluck Tulsi leaves that day.
Aarambhi agrees and stops.
Meanwhile, Vishwas tells Avantika while driving that he is going to give Aarambhi the divorce papers.
Avantika is pleased to hear this. Vishwas admits that he is still slightly worried because there has never been a divorce in his family.
He says the Tandon family believes divorce will damage their reputation.
Hearing this, Avantika takes wet mud from a plant pot and applies it to her face.
Later, Avantika reaches the Tandon house and creates a scene.
She claims that some reporters were outside the society speaking badly about the Tandon family. She says she stood up for them, after which they threw mud on her face.
Dimple apologises to Avantika and says she is suffering because of Aarambhi. She then makes several negative comments about Aarambhi.
Sunil immediately asks Dimple to stop taking Aarambhi’s name in the house.
He warns everyone that anyone who mentions Aarambhi’s name will be thrown out of the house.
Sunil leaves, while Vishwas overhears the entire conversation over the phone.
Avantika tells Vishwas that he must have heard what his family truly thinks about Aarambhi.
She tells him that there is no reason for him to reconsider his decision.
Vishwas agrees with her and leaves.
Meanwhile, Aarambhi completes the pooja and offers the diya to everyone.
Vishwas refuses to accept it. He tells Aarambhi that he does not want to take anything from a characterless woman like her, not even a diya.
Elsewhere, Manmeet runs into Raj in the cafeteria.
Manmeet apologises to Raj for Sunny’s behaviour. Raj says he only wants to focus on his work and leaves.
Sunny witnesses their interaction.
She asks Manmeet whether she has come to the hospital to meet her boyfriend.
Manmeet explains that she was only apologising to Raj for Sunny’s behaviour.
Sunny becomes furious and takes Manmeet home, determined to teach her a lesson.
Meanwhile, Vishwas accuses Aarambhi of constantly trying to break his family.
He also accuses her of being a bad mother. He says Vihaan was abducted and later fell into the pool because of her.
Vishwas further accuses Aarambhi of sending a fake video to the police and trying to send the entire family to jail.
Aarambhi asks Vishwas to stop his drama.
Vishwas then tells the neighbours that they should remember how the Tandon family went to jail because Aarambhi allegedly sent a fake video.
He accuses Aarambhi of using Vihaan to cover up her crimes.
Aarambhi argues back and reminds Vishwas that she has already told him that she did not send the video.
However, Vishwas continues arguing with her and refuses to listen.
