The episode begins with Vishwas insisting that the divorce is a personal matter and that it does not matter who knows about it. Dhruv, however, reminds him that Avantika is already discussing cutting the wages of the maid hired by Aarambhi. He points out that the family’s personal actions can also affect their business reputation.
Sunny tries to explain that the divorce is a matter between husband and wife and that they only learned about it recently. Vishwas refuses to justify his personal decisions and tells Dhruv that they will handle any business losses themselves. Sunil, meanwhile, blames Aarambhi for humiliating the family publicly and says it would be better to get rid of her permanently.
Dimple then asks Dhruv how he learned about the divorce. Dhruv reveals that Vihaan told him about it. He explains that Vihaan believes the divorce is a kind of apology gift from Vishwas to Aarambhi and hopes that she will eventually return home.
Vishwas becomes furious with Vihaan and calls him over. Dhruv asks Vishwas not to take his anger out on a child, but Vishwas refuses to accept Dhruv’s interference.
When Vihaan arrives, Vishwas tells him that the divorce means Aarambhi and he will no longer be together and that Vihaan may never see her again. Devastated by this, Vihaan calls his father bad. Vishwas loses his temper and raises his hand to hit him, but Aarambhi immediately intervenes.
Aarambhi angrily questions Vishwas about how he could raise his hand against his own son. Dimple tries to defend Vishwas and tells Aarambhi not to turn Vihaan against his father. Aarambhi reminds her that Vihaan is her son too and says nobody should tolerate such behaviour.
Dhruv supports Aarambhi and says she is right to stop Vishwas. Manju reminds Aarambhi that they had come to the house to make peace, but Aarambhi makes it clear that she cannot remain silent after witnessing Vishwas trying to hit Vihaan. She warns that she can even raise the matter in court.
Meanwhile, Manmeet secretly covers the bruises on her face with makeup before Raj enters the room. She hopes he will not notice them. Raj tells her that they have work to complete, but he becomes suspicious that Manmeet is hiding something from him.
Later, Aarambhi approaches Sunil and asks whether he will stop Vishwas from divorcing her if she can prove that she did not send the video to the police. Vishwas objects, but Sunil stops him.
Sunil explains that he is against the divorce because taking the matter to court could create serious negative publicity for the family. He therefore gives Aarambhi two days to prove her innocence and resolve the matter.
Aarambhi agrees but places one condition: nobody should ever raise a hand against Vihaan again. Sunil promises her that it will not happen.
However, Dhruv secretly worries that Aarambhi may uncover the truth if she investigates the matter. Aarambhi, meanwhile, becomes determined to prove her innocence.
The episode ends with Aarambhi deciding that the divorce may happen, but this time, it will happen on her terms.
