However, the situation soon takes a dangerous turn when the Pandavas and Kauravas notice several strange and ominous signs around them.
Dronacharya carefully observes the river and notices that several fish floating in the water are already dead. The unusual sight immediately raises concern.
Arjun suspects that a dangerous alligator could be hiding somewhere in the river and may be responsible for the deaths of the fish. Realising that the creature could pose a serious threat to everyone, Dronacharya decides that they must find and deal with it immediately.
Jarasandh Intercepts a Secret Message
Meanwhile, in Magadh, Jarasandh spots a bird carrying a secret message from Hastinapur.
The bird is being used to secretly send important information from Magadh, but Jarasandh becomes suspicious. He attacks the bird in an attempt to prevent the message from reaching its destination.
Duryodhan Lures the Alligator
Back at the riverside, Dronacharya takes all his disciples with him to investigate the dangerous creature.
Despite everyone’s warnings, Dronacharya moves closer to the river alone to locate the alligator. His determination to understand the threat puts him in a dangerous position.
Duryodhan, eager to prove his bravery, comes up with a risky plan. He deliberately spills blood into the river to lure the alligator towards the bank.
His strategy works.
A huge alligator soon emerges from the water. Duryodhan immediately attacks the creature with great force, but his attempt fails to kill it. Instead, the injured alligator becomes even more aggressive.
Realising that the situation is getting out of control, all the brothers join forces and spread a large net to capture the creature.
Using his immense strength, Bheem manages to pull the alligator towards the riverbank. For a moment, everyone believes that they have finally brought the danger under control.
A Second Alligator Attacks Dronacharya
However, another unexpected danger suddenly emerges.
A second alligator attacks Dronacharya and puts his life in immediate danger.
Dronacharya calls out to Ashwathama and orders him to shoot an arrow at the creature.
Ashwathama hesitates. He fears that even the slightest mistake could cause the arrow to hit his father instead of the alligator.
His fear prevents him from taking the crucial shot.
Arjun Saves Dronacharya
At that critical moment, Arjun steps forward.
Displaying his extraordinary archery skills, Arjun takes aim and shoots the alligator with perfect precision. His arrow strikes the creature and saves Dronacharya’s life.
Dronacharya is deeply impressed by Arjun’s courage, confidence and accuracy. He openly praises Arjun for his exceptional archery skills.
However, Dronacharya’s admiration for Arjun has an unexpected effect on Ashwathama.
Ashwathama becomes deeply jealous as he watches his father praise Arjun. Arjun’s growing reputation and Dronacharya’s increasing admiration for him begin to create a painful sense of insecurity in Ashwathama.
