The episode begins with Duryodhan trying to strengthen his bond with Ashwathama by turning him against Arjun.
He deliberately fills Ashwathama’s mind with doubts and tells him that Arjun is not truly grateful for everything he has been taught.
Duryodhan reminds Ashwathama that Arjun learned several rare and valuable archery techniques because of his guidance, yet allegedly fails to appreciate his efforts.
At the same time, Duryodhan proudly talks about his own loyalty and gratitude towards the Gurukul.
Through his manipulative words, he tries to create misunderstandings between Ashwathama and Arjun.
Meanwhile, following the decisions taken by Kunti and Gandhari, Dhritrashtra announces measures to support poor girls and families whose main earning members have gone to war.
The decision is intended to provide relief to the affected families.
However, Shakuni carefully observes the situation and realises that Kunti’s growing influence in Hastinapur could become a major obstacle to their ambitions for the throne.
Shakuni therefore remains alert and starts thinking about ways to control her influence.
Duryodhan’s conspiracy continues as Ashwathama deliberately behaves as though he has developed resentment towards Arjun.
Initially, Duryodhan enjoys seeing the apparent tension between them.
However, Ashwathama soon makes it clear that Duryodhan cannot truly create hatred between him and Arjun.
His words make it clear that his bond with Arjun is much stronger than Duryodhan believes.
Duryodhan then openly claims that the Pandu brothers lack the strength and ability to maintain powerful friendships.
He and Dushasan admit that they must secure Ashwathama’s friendship at any cost.
They fear that the Pandu brothers could otherwise become more influential than them.
Their insecurity pushes them to continue manipulating Ashwathama.
Duryodhan once again tries to frighten Ashwathama by warning him that the Pandu brothers could eventually take away his importance and position in the Gurukul.
Meanwhile, the Kaurav brothers are deliberately intimidated by Bhim.
Bhim wants to teach them a lesson for their repeated mischief.
Although the Kauravs face Bhim’s challenge, they have already succeeded in planting doubts and resentment in Ashwathama’s mind.
Elsewhere, Ekalavya remains hopeful and confident.
He firmly believes that Dronacharya will eventually recognise his dedication and teach him the art of warfare.
Ekalavya dreams of becoming a great warrior and is certain that learning from Dronacharya will help him achieve his ambition.
