The episode begins with Sudha questioning Aparajita about why she is suddenly taking their blessings.
Rakshit tells Sudha that there is no need for a reason to seek the blessings of elders. He also takes blessings from Arvind and Sudha, followed by the elders of Aradhya and Vivaan.
Rakshit and Aparajita then take blessings from Aparajita’s family.
Sudha says that the engagement went well and suggests celebrating the Mehendi function the next day. She adds that the Haldi ceremony can be held at Malti’s house.
However, Sheela objects to the idea. She says Malti’s house is too small to host the Haldi function properly.
She also points out that they have arranged food from a seven-star hotel, while Malti’s family cannot make similar arrangements.
Before leaving, Sheela asks Malti’s family to provide their clothing measurements. She says the outfits should match the Bharadwaj family’s status so that they do not feel embarrassed.
Mohit tries to stop Sheela, but Sudha asks her to stop. Sheela defends herself, while Sudha says that Aradhya will bring happiness to their family.
Meanwhile, Vivaan goes inside to answer a phone call. Aradhya notices him leaving.
Later, Malti tells Sudha that she has called the bangle seller. Sudha says that according to their tradition as well, the husband makes his wife wear bangles.
Sudha, Malti, Rashmi and Aradhya sit together as the bangle seller arrives.
The bangle seller asks Aparajita whether she has no one to put the bangles on her. Mohit tries to respond, but Sheela stops him and sarcastically asks whether he plans to make Aparajita wear the bangles.
Mohit is shocked by her question and asks what she means.
Sudha then tells Aparajita to wear the bangles herself this year. She adds that fate can change at any moment and perhaps Aparajita may soon find a life partner.
Aparajita becomes emotional and starts crying.
Sudha asks the bangle seller to show the bangles to Aparajita. While trying to remove her existing bangles, Aparajita struggles and injures her hand.
Mohit immediately offers to bring the first-aid box. Aparajita tells him that it is only a small wound and that she is fine.
She then goes inside.
Sheela taunts Mohit, saying that he never brought a first-aid box for her. Mohit replies that she never gets hurt either.
Sheela tells him that he has no idea how much she is actually hurt.
Meanwhile, Aparajita runs inside. Rakshit follows her and gently removes her bangles without hurting her.
He tells her that forcing something into the wrong place only causes pain.
Rakshit then shows Aparajita his ancestral bangles. He asks her to wear them when they take their vows.
He tells her that only she has the right to those bangles and to his love.
Rakshit then makes Aparajita wear the ancestral bangles.
Elsewhere, Aradhya searches for Aparajita and Rakshit, while Sudha searches for Aradhya.
Sudha finds Aradhya and asks what she is doing there. Aradhya lies and says that she was looking for Vivaan.
Sudha takes Aradhya with her and asks Sheela to bring the jewellery from the room.
However, Sheela soon notices that the bangles are missing. She informs Sudha about it.
Sudha is shocked and asks how the bangles could have disappeared.
Sheela indirectly points the finger at Malti’s family. Malti asks Sudha to search everyone.
Sudha, however, says that she trusts Malti’s family.
Rakshit also supports Malti’s family and says that they are his family, so there is no need to doubt them.
Ramgopal suggests searching everyone if the bangles are really expensive.
Sudha eventually begins searching. She finds the bangles inside Aparajita’s purse.
Malti immediately asks Aparajita to tell them the truth.
Rakshit steps forward and reveals that he gave the bangles to Aparajita.
Sudha asks why he would give them to her.
Rakshit reminds Sudha that she had said she wanted to give those bangles to her future daughter-in-law.
He explains that he gave them to Aparajita so that she could give them to Aradhya. He also reveals that he had planned the entire thing as a surprise for Sudha.
However, Sudha reminds Rakshit that the bangles were meant for his future wife.
Rakshit then shocks everyone by saying that he will not get married.
Sudha apologises to Aparajita’s family. She also refuses to let Aradhya have the bangles, insisting that they are meant only for Rakshit’s future wife.
