The episode begins with Rakshit telling Aparajita that he will speak to her parents and convince them that there is nothing inappropriate between them. However, Aparajita says that it will not change anything. She explains that society often judges a lonely woman before knowing the truth, forcing her to fight even against her own family. She tells Rakshit that she does not want him to become the target of people’s taunts because no one will understand the purity of their friendship. Having made up her mind, Aparajita hands Rakshit her resignation letter. Rakshit is left stunned.
Elsewhere, Mohit advises Vivaan to tell Sudha the truth about Aparajita before it is too late because Sudha has already gone to Aparajita’s house with Rakshit’s marriage proposal. Vivaan is shocked by the news. Meanwhile, Arvind asks Sudha where they are headed. Sudha happily replies that they are going to meet their future daughter-in-law. She ignores Vivaan’s phone call and even asks Arvind to put his phone on silent mode. Realizing the situation is getting out of hand, Vivaan tells Mohit that they should inform Rakshit immediately.
At the same time, Lalit reflects that he had expected Aparajita to teach Rakshit a lesson after learning about his feelings for her. Instead, she thanked him. Furious, Lalit says that after her divorce, Aparajita will eventually go to Rakshit. He vows that she will remain under his control for seven lifetimes and declares that she can never belong to anyone else.
Meanwhile, Rashmi asks Aparajita’s family what happened in court and where Aparajita is. Just then, Sudha and Arvind arrive at the house. Sudha starts talking about Rakshit and Aparajita’s marriage, leaving the entire family shocked. Malti immediately asks them to leave. Surprised by her reaction, Sudha questions why she is shouting. Malti says Aparajita’s life is already being ruined because of Rakshit and asks how a mother can support her son in such a situation. Sudha insists that they will never find a better son-in-law than Rakshit and claims that he truly loves Aparajita. Malti reminds her that Aparajita is already married and calls Rakshit an insect who roams around married women. Sudha is left speechless by the accusation.
Just then, Chandrabaga arrives and reveals that Aparajita is her daughter-in-law. She is also shocked to learn that Rakshit is Sudha’s son. Sudha accuses Aparajita of lying to trap a wealthy man and questions why a married woman needed such a close friendship with someone like Rakshit. Unable to tolerate the allegations, Malti scolds Sudha. Humiliated, Sudha leaves with Arvind. Malti then breaks down and asks Ramgopal how Sudha could speak so disrespectfully about Aparajita. Watching everything unfold, Chandrabaga secretly smiles, convinced that Sudha will never allow Aparajita to become a part of Rakshit’s life.
Meanwhile, Aparajita tells Rakshit that she has no other choice. She says she wants to leave both the office and his life because it is the best decision for both of them. With that, she walks away. Rakshit follows her and stops her. Asking her not to cry, he jokes that people will think the boss is harassing his employee and no one will want to work under him. He gently wipes away her tears and tells her to give both her mind and heart some time. He reminds her that what people say does not define her truth and encourages her not to let their opinions affect her. Rakshit praises Aparajita as a talented and capable employee and urges her not to sacrifice her career because of others. Although Aparajita leaves, Rakshit stops her from taking an auto-rickshaw and insists on dropping her home in his car. Ira notices them together and decides that she will remove Aparajita from Rakshit’s life.
Later, a doctor checks Sudha’s blood pressure. Worried, Rakshit asks what happened to her. Vivaan reveals that Sudha had gone to Aparajita’s house. Sudha then questions Rakshit about why Aparajita gave him false hope. She says Malti behaved very rudely with them, so she gave her a fitting reply, adding that no one had ever insulted them like that before. Rakshit calmly tells his mother that he already knew Aparajita was married.
