Today’s episode begins with the host introducing the judges. He first welcomes Manpreet Singh to the stage. Leela asks Hasmuk if Manpreet delivers food around the world, as the host mentioned she has taken food worldwide. Hasmuk explains that it means she has promoted Indian cuisine across the globe.
Vasundhara tells Anil that Manpreet looks so strict she could even find faults in an empty plate. Anil agrees, saying he has watched her show and knows how tough she is.
Prem tells Shruti that they cannot afford to make any mistakes in front of Manpreet. Anupama, however, says strict judges are the best because they focus only on talent.
The host then introduces the second judge, Roy. Digvijay tells Anupama that he knows Roy personally. Ishani feels relieved, hoping this connection will work in their favour. Digvijay, however, says Roy is completely professional. Shruti informs her team about Digvijay knowing Roy, but Rahi says it won’t matter since the judges will decide purely on the taste of the food.
The host next welcomes the third judge, Sikander. Anupama says they will learn a lot from the judges. Prem starts planning how to impress Sikander, while Anupama silently prays for success.
The host then introduces the four teams participating in the competition. Both Anupama’s and Prem’s teams cheer enthusiastically.
The host points out that while audiences are used to seeing mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law competing in the kitchen, this time a mother-in-law and son-in-law are facing each other.
When asked why he joined the competition, Prem confidently says he is here only to win. His attitude impresses Manpreet. Sikander remarks that excitement can burn the roti, adding that everyone should wait for the real competition to begin.
The host then asks Anupama about her thoughts. She says Prem and Rahi wanted this challenge, and she is ready to face them. Declaring that she is here to win, Anupama reveals that she wants to build her own house, making this competition very important to her.
Manpreet is unimpressed by Anupama sharing her personal struggles on a reality show. However, Sikander and Roy defend her. Roy says it is unfair to judge Anupama even before the competition has started.
The host announces the first challenge, the Abara Ka Dabara round. Each team must prepare a dish assigned by the judges, while only two members from each team can collect ingredients from the pantry.
Anupama and Digvijay decide to send Kinjal and Prerna. On the other hand, Rahi suggests that she and Khyati should go for Prem’s team. Prem immediately stops her, saying she should not make decisions when he is in charge. Determined not to lose, he refuses to send Khyati and instead asks Shruti to accompany Rahi.
Later, the host asks the judges to assign dishes to each team. He also announces that the contestants cannot discuss the dishes with their team leaders.
Anupama’s team is assigned an Italian dish. She struggles to pronounce the name “Rosette.” Prem mocks her, saying that if she cannot even pronounce the dish correctly, how will she manage to cook it?
