His investigation reveals that a poisonous weed had been mixed with the spices, confirming that the food was deliberately contaminated.
Elsewhere, Pitamah Bhishma visits Dronacharya’s Gurukul to meet the young princes. However, Dronacharya respectfully refuses to allow the meeting. He explains that emotional reunions could distract the students from their training and discipline.
Although surprised by Dronacharya’s strict decision, Bhishma respects his authority and quietly leaves without meeting the princes.
