The episode begins with Ishani arriving at Anurag’s house. She tells him that she has no other option. Anurag admits that he feared this might happen and asks what occurred. Ishani explains that she was thrown out of her house the previous night. Her mother has been shifted to a care center, and now she needs Anurag’s help to find a new place to live.
Anurag agrees to help and offers her water. He notices a mark on her cheek and questions why she didn’t call him yesterday, remarking that she doesn’t seem to trust him. Ishani replies that if she didn’t trust him, she wouldn’t have come. She recounts how everything happened suddenly, how Sengupta treated her like an animal, and how she left the house without knowing if her decision was right. Anurag reassures her that she made the right choice and should have done it sooner. Ishani worries that she has put Anurag in danger.
Anurag tells her that this is the first time she gave him a chance to take responsibility. Ishani confesses that she doesn’t want to return to Shashwat’s house. Anurag offers her to live at his house if she wants, but Ishani hesitates, worrying about what society will think. Anurag dismisses her concerns, saying society won’t help them anyway and that he is helping because he cares about her.
Meanwhile, Nandini visits Pihu’s room to check on her. Pihu expresses her anguish, saying her stepmother has taken away her love. Nandini reminds her that Ishani and Anurag wouldn’t have met again if Ishani hadn’t gone to college, and she knows Ishani hurt Pihu deeply. Pihu tells Nandini not to worry about her, saying she trusted Ishani, who broke that trust, and now she hates her. Nandini advises Pihu not to let Ishani continue her life peacefully. She suggests Ishani might go to Anurag’s house and continue her studies, so Pihu should disrupt her life. Pihu tells Nandini not to dictate what she should do. Nandini insists that Anurag won’t accept Pihu until Ishani is out of their lives. Pihu admits she cannot imagine life without Anurag and asks Nandini to convince him to marry her without causing him harm. Nandini replies that they must first get rid of Ishani and assures Pihu of her support.
Back at Anurag’s house, his mother comes out and notices Ishani. Anurag asks if she would have any problem if Ishani stays with them. His mother asks if Ishani is comfortable with it. Anurag explains everything to his mother, who feels sympathy for Ishani and thanks her for helping Anurag. Ishani admits that her life has been shattered. Anurag tells his mother that Ishani is in this state because she helped him. His mother encourages Ishani to stay. Ishani hesitates, saying she doesn’t want to be a burden, but Anurag reassures her, telling her that she is his strength. Ishani looks at him with gratitude and emotion.
