The episode opens with Pihu noticing Ishani’s tense expression in the cab. She reassures Ishani that she will stand by her in front of Shashwat. Ishani insists Pihu shouldn’t have skipped her classes for her, but Pihu says she’ll head to college after dropping her off—and adds that college has become her favorite place now because Anurag will be there. She tells Ishani to call her if Shashwat causes any trouble.
Meanwhile, Nandini warns Shashwat to control his temper and not hit Ishani, reminding him that this time Ishani could go to the police. Shashwat replies that Ishani “can’t fly” because he has clipped her wings, vowing to take revenge on her.
Ishani arrives home, where Raj didi scolds her for humiliating Shashwat in public. Ishani retorts that she couldn’t stay silent when he tried to accuse an innocent person. Shashwat orders her to shut up, threatening to frame Anurag in another case if she doesn’t back off. Ishani questions why he has such a grudge against Anurag.
Nandini cuts in, saying Anurag is just a professor and accusing Ishani of turning against her own family for him. Ishani taunts Nandini for being an outsider. Raj didi defends Nandini, calling her a daughter-in-law of the house, but Ishani declares that she is the only true daughter-in-law and will not stay silent when an outsider tries to ruin her marriage. Shashwat responds by slapping her.
Nandini warns Ishani that Shashwat won’t tolerate such disrespect and says she isn’t helpless like Ishani. Shashwat delivers his “final warning,” threatening that if Ishani crosses the line again, he might kill Anurag in anger. Nandini further insults Ishani’s character, while Shashwat orders her not to leave the house without his permission, forbids her from going to college, and tells her to keep Pihu out of her issues. Ishani walks away in silence.
The next morning, Yash’s wedding rituals begin. Raj didi deliberately excludes Ishani from the ceremony, though Ishani still does all the work. As the ladies prepare the haldi, one of them suggests Ishani should take part, but Raj didi dismisses the idea, saying Ishani is neither Yash’s biological mother nor a mother at all.
Pihu arrives and offers to help Ishani, prompting Raj didi to remark that there’s nothing worth helping with. Pihu fires back with a sarcastic comment. Another lady bluntly asks Ishani if the professor really harassed her. This triggers Shashwat’s memory of Ishani defending Anurag in her statement, and he silently vows to make her pay for “insulting” him.
