The episode opens with Anurag advising Ishani to file a domestic violence case against Shashwat, though he knows she won’t. Anurag’s mother questions why Ishani stayed with Shashwat all this time. Ishani explains that she feared society’s judgment, as people would blame her if the marriage broke. Anurag’s mother tells her that society will always gossip, so they shouldn’t live their lives for others. Anurag urges Ishani to leave Shashwat and assures her that she can stay with them if she trusts him.
Anurag’s mother then asks Ishani if she wants to return to Shashwat’s house. Ishani firmly replies she’d rather die than go back. However, since she is still legally Shashwat’s wife, she fears he might try to ruin Anurag’s life if she stays there. She confesses that she wants a divorce. Anurag promises to consult a lawyer and advises her to resume her studies. Ishani hesitates, worried that Pihu, who studies at the same college, might cause trouble. Anurag reassures her that it’s not their problem to fear.
The next day, Anurag is captivated seeing Ishani in a simple saree. Ishani tells him she plans to return to college in two days, but Anurag insists she should start today.
