The episode begins with Shashwat asking Ishani to tell him before evening if there’s anything she wants to share with him. Ishani, confused, says she doesn’t understand what he means. Nandini clarifies that Shashwat wants to know if Ishani ever had a romantic relationship in the past. Irritated, Ishani tells Nandini to stay quiet, as she isn’t speaking to her. Shashwat insists that he wants Ishani’s answer. Ishani asks why he’s suddenly bringing this up, but then lies, saying nothing like that ever happened in her life. In her mind, she fears that if she mentions Anurag’s name, Shashwat won’t spare him. Relieved by her reply, Shashwat says that’s all he wanted to know and declares everything normal again. He leaves with Nandini, and the Haldi ceremony concludes.
Later, Ishani gets dressed but feels restless, suspecting that something is going on in Shashwat’s mind. She wonders what he is planning. Pihu comes in, compliments Ishani, and playfully asks if she ever had a boyfriend. Ishani scolds her, saying she’s like a mother to her. Pihu teases that many boys must have proposed to Ishani when she was younger. Ishani insists she only went to college to study and had no interest in such things. Pihu asks her to open up without shyness, but Ishani tells her to stop, and Pihu agrees.
Just then, Shashwat arrives. Ishani sends Pihu away, and Shashwat compliments her. He then asks if she would feel uncomfortable if he held her hand in front of the guests. Shocked, Ishani says Nandini wouldn’t like it. Shashwat teases her by asking if she’s jealous of Nandini, then confidently holds her hand and leads her downstairs.
Meanwhile, Ankita’s parents welcome Yash, who takes their blessings. Ankita’s mother requests him to always keep Ankita happy. Raj didi asks Nandini about Shashwat’s whereabouts, and Nandini says he went to bring Ishani. They all head inside. Soon, Ankita arrives at the wedding mandap. Shashwat introduces the Principal and Professors to Ishani, explaining that he invited them to clear any misunderstandings. He takes Ishani forward to speak with them.
Seeing Shashwat’s growing closeness with Ishani, Nandini grows furious. She pulls him aside and questions his actions. Shashwat tells her not to spoil her mood, as everything is part of his plan. He then tells the Principal that Ishani has stopped attending college because of the wedding preparations, but promises to send her back once Yash’s marriage is over. Just then, Ankita’s father calls Shashwat away.
The varmala ceremony begins, and Ankita and Yash exchange garlands amid applause. Pihu takes the mic and sings a song. At that moment, Anurag arrives. The Principal curiously asks Ishani if Anurag was also invited. Before Ishani can respond, Shashwat appears and says he needs to introduce Ishani to his friends.
