The episode begins with Anurag telling Pihu that since he is a bachelor, he cannot allow her to stay with him. He adds that if her family finds out, they might even file a case against him. Pihu lashes out, accusing him of betraying Shashwat by having an affair with Ishani. She taunts him, saying that according to his so-called morals, he can be with a married woman but cannot marry a young girl.
Anurag explains that she doesn’t know the full truth. He confesses that he and Ishani were in love during their college days, but when he went abroad to pursue his dreams, Ishani supported him wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, he met with an accident overseas and was unable to contact her. When he finally returned to India, he went to Ishani’s house and saw her dressed as a bride. Not wanting to disrupt her married life, he walked away without meeting her and stayed away for years. However, fate brought them together again in college, and he realized that his love for her had never faded.
Pihu listens and sarcastically says the story sounds interesting. She questions why Ishani never waited for him. Anurag explains that Ishani must have thought he would never return and likely married under her mother’s pressure. He adds that while he never stopped loving Ishani, he believes Ishani still holds some feelings for him as well.
Pihu, however, declares that Ishani belongs to his past, while she is his present. She urges him to forget Ishani and accept her love instead, as she is ready to embrace his past. Anurag refuses, saying he cannot love anyone except Ishani. Pihu accuses him of hypocrisy, reminding him that he once dismissed her love as obsession, yet he himself is obsessed with Ishani. Threatening to end her life, she begs him not to send her away. Anurag pleads with her to leave, insisting she will find someone better in the future.
But Pihu insists she cannot love anyone else. She says falling in love with him wasn’t her mistake, and she refuses to go. Anurag relents, saying she can stay—but she must not expect love from him. Pihu asks him for just one chance, but he firmly tells her his heart will always belong to Ishani. He then asks her to inform Shashwat about her decision to stay, but Pihu refuses, saying she is not a child. She hugs him desperately, but he pushes her away. Hurt, she questions how he can treat her this way. Anurag ignores her pleas, telling her he will bring something for her to eat before walking inside.
Meanwhile, Shashwat accuses Ishani of using Pihu as an excuse to rejoin college. Ishani denies it, but Shashwat threatens to file a kidnapping case against Anurag and demands that she testify against him. Ishani refuses, insisting that their priority should be finding Pihu. Shashwat bitterly declares that his life has been ruined ever since he married her. In response, Ishani tells him to end the marriage if he feels that way. In anger, Shashwat pushes her and says he won’t do that because he has read Anurag’s letter.
