The episode opens with Jhanak learning that the kidnappers plan to kill Rishi. She tells Rakesh that money is her only concern. Rakesh instructs her to take care of Rishi until the next day. Meanwhile, Parashar uncovers Jhanak’s clues and locates the kidnappers’ hideout. He warns the villagers that any mistake could cost Jhanak and Rishi their lives and urges them to shoot only if necessary, conserving their bullets.
The kidnapper alerts Rakesh that something seems suspicious outside. Rakesh sends him to investigate, but he finds nothing and reports back. Seizing the opportunity, Parashar attacks the kidnappers. Rakesh and the others hear the commotion and ask who is firing. Jhanak asks what’s happening, and the kidnapper orders Rakesh to kill Rishi. Jhanak intervenes, warning them not to harm him. Realizing Jhanak has betrayed him, Rakesh threatens her life. Parashar arrives and reassures Jhanak, inviting her to join him. She refuses, removes her veil, and boldly warns the kidnappers against hurting Rishi. Snatching Rakesh’s gun, she saves Rishi. The police arrive, thank Jhanak, arrest the kidnappers, and leave. Jhanak informs Parashar about Rishi’s memory loss and decides to take Rishi with her.
Elsewhere, Neelu tells Aditi that Jhanak is selfish. Aditi encourages Tanushri to drink some soup, but Tanushri admits she feels helpless and cannot do anything to save Rishi. She refuses to eat, and Aditi warns that she will become ill if she skips meals. Neelu reassures her that since Aditi has returned, Rishi will too. Aditi confirms Rishi’s return is certain, and Tanushri finally agrees to drink some soup.
Neelu asks Tanushri if she doesn’t consider Aditi the true Lakshmi of the house. Tanushri replies that Aditi is the real daughter-in-law and questions why Aditi left. Aditi explains that Rishi caused their separation. Tanushri insists she will not allow Rishi to throw Aditi out and points out that he is now paying for his mistakes. Aditi denies it was that way.
Putul tells Sanjhbati that Aditi is trying to replace Jhanak, while Neelu wants to prove Aditi lucky and Jhanak unlucky. Sanjhbati notes that Jhanak does all the hard work, yet Aditi receives credit and manipulates Tanushri. She decides to intervene, but Putul stops her, suggesting they “watch the drama unfold.”
Neelu observes Putul and Sanjhbati, telling them that Aditi convinced Tanushri to eat. Taking them aside, Putul questions Neelu’s intentions. Neelu insists that Jhanak has the rights to Rishi, not Aditi, and since Aditi’s marriage is fixed with someone else, her presence is inappropriate. Sanjhbati worries the family’s reputation will be ruined, while Neelu accuses her of jealousy but admits Aditi deserves her rights.
Abhimanyu says they can only wait. Indumati recalls that Jhanak promised to return. Tanushri claims Jhanak only went away to show off and returns because she failed. Putul wonders why Tanushri speaks this way and chooses to “wait and watch.” Payal mentions that Rishi would have contacted them if he were returning, while Mishti points out that even the police have no information, and Jhanak likely doesn’t either. Neelu blames Jhanak for the situation, but Dritimaan and Sanjhbati defend her, trusting her promise that Rishi is safe.
Tanushri argues that Rishi would have called if he were safe. Aditi observes that the media would have been present if Rishi were returning. Dadabhai confirms hearing Jhanak say she was bringing Rishi back. Aditi suspects Jhanak intends to cause trouble by withholding details and vows to hold her accountable if anything happens to Rishi. Sanjhbati believes Jhanak is bringing at least some information, while Aditi doubts it, pointing out that Jhanak is not capable of reaching the kidnappers. Dritimaan questions why Jhanak would lie.
Aditi claims Jhanak seeks sympathy by portraying herself as Rishi’s wife. Abhimanyu asks why, since she is legally married to him. Aditi vows to fight anyone claiming Rishi as theirs. Sanjhbati reminds her that Rishi and Jhanak are legally married, while Aditi asserts she won’t let anyone come between her and Rishi. Putul notes that Rishi’s perspective also matters.
