The episode opens with Jhanak expressing to Rishi her desire to continue her education. She explains that without studying, she’ll become a burden and insists that she can build a better future through learning. She assures him that she’ll manage the household duties without any mistakes. Dadabhai supports her decision and promises to help her pursue her studies, which makes Jhanak smile. Tanushri encourages her to study well. Rishi then asks for his meal to be served and leaves.
Later, Aditi questions Rishi about why he brought her straight to the restaurant from college. Rishi responds that he has the right to do so. Aditi mentions that Anjana advised them to meet less often since their wedding is approaching. Rishi assures her that he will handle Anjana. He compliments Aditi, but she admits feeling nervous and unsure about how she will adjust to his family. Rishi tells her not to worry, reminding her that she already knows his family well. Aditi makes him promise not to hide anything from her, just as she won’t hide anything from him. Rishi asks what she would do if she found out he had kept something from her. Aditi playfully asks what he’s hiding and then laughs, saying she was joking. Rishi, however, is troubled by his inability to be honest with her. Aditi, sensing nothing, reassures him that she trusts he wouldn’t hide anything.
Meanwhile, Aniruddh calls Dadabhai to discuss the recent incident involving Jhanak. Dadabhai expresses his shame over what happened, but Aniruddh brushes it off with a laugh and invites Rishi’s family to the Ashirwaad Ceremony on Sunday. Dadabhai confirms they will attend. Overhearing this, Jhanak murmurs that Aniruddh is unnecessarily dragging her into things. Abhimanyu tells her to stay quiet. Dadabhai urges Aniruddh to let the matter go, but Aniruddh says he found the whole episode amusing and might even visit just to see Jhanak. He requests that Dadabhai bring Jhanak to the ceremony. Dadabhai agrees and ends the call.
When everyone asks what Aniruddh said, Dadabhai reveals that he wants Jhanak to attend the Ashirwaad Ceremony. He explains that this was Aniruddh’s only condition for moving on from the incident. Jhanak smiles upon hearing this.
Back in the village, Nutan is in tears as she reminisces about the time spent with Jhanak and the day Jhanak married Rishi. Sakhi approaches and asks if she’s alright. Nutan insists she is. Sakhi informs her that Parashar is going to Kolkata with Mangal and asks if Nutan would like to go too. Nutan firmly declines. When Sakhi asks why she doesn’t want to see Jhanak, Nutan says she has found the strength to stay away. She asks Sakhi to tell Parashar that she won’t hurt him. Sakhi comments that Nutan still loves Parashar, but Nutan replies that she only respects him now. She adds that her life now revolves entirely around Jhanak.
Elsewhere, Jhanak overhears Rishi’s family discussing his upcoming marriage. Her mind drifts back to the moment she married Rishi.
