The episode begins with Jhanak telling Aditi that there’s no compatibility between her and Rishi. She says no one ever supported their marriage, and she can’t even imagine being Rishi’s wife. Aditi, however, replies that the truth is—Jhanak is Rishi’s wife. Jhanak pleads with her not to go down this path. Aditi asks her to stay back and walks away, lost in memories of Rishi, breaking down in tears.
She wonders why Rishi never told her the truth. Holding back her pain, she says it doesn’t matter whether Rishi acknowledges the marriage or not—the reality is, he is already married. She cannot marry a man who has a wife. She reflects on the sanctity of sindoor for a woman and decides she cannot take that right away from Jhanak. Crying, she realizes that today, Rishi’s wedding will take place—but not with her.
Just then, Aditi’s friends knock on her door, saying everyone is waiting. Hearing this, Jhanak starts panicking. Aditi steps out, and Jhanak tells her people are waiting outside. But Aditi calmly insists that Jhanak should get ready first. Jhanak refuses, saying she’s fine and doesn’t need to.
Outside, everyone has gathered near Aditi’s room. Aniruddh asks one of Aditi’s friends who is inside with her. She replies that Jhanak is with Aditi. Aniruddh calls out, saying Rishi is waiting at the mandap and asks if everything is alright.
Inside, Aditi removes her saree and jewelry and gives them to Jhanak. Shocked, Jhanak begs her not to punish her this way and asks to be let go. But Aditi insists she wear them immediately—there’s no time to explain. She declares that today, Rishi will marry Jhanak in front of everyone.
Jhanak is left speechless. She says Rishi belongs to Aditi and reminds her that their village wedding was never real. But Aditi stands firm. She says she’s already freed Rishi from their bond and asks Jhanak to listen to her. Jhanak breaks down, saying she’d rather die than destroy Aditi’s life. With a sad smile, Aditi says her life is already shattered, and urges her to stop wasting time and get ready.
Outside, Choton wonders why Aditi hasn’t opened the door yet. Arshi yells for her to hurry up. Aditi responds calmly from inside, assuring them that the wedding will happen on time. Aditi’s friend worries about what she might be saying to Jhanak now. Arshi blames Jhanak for causing the delay. Choton recalls how a similar situation had occurred during Aniruddh’s wedding and fears that history might be repeating itself.
The priest announces that the auspicious time is running out. Choton rushes to check. Dadabhai questions why Aditi isn’t ready yet. Anjana says no one knows the reason. Rishi grows anxious, wondering what Aditi is up to. Neelu informs Indumati that Aditi and Jhanak are locked in a room, talking. Indumati fears what Jhanak might have done this time. Dadabhai sends Neelu and Payal to check, but Neelu says she still doesn’t understand what’s going on. Rishi overhears this and is stunned. Meanwhile, Jhanak, dressed as a bride, stands with tears streaming down her face.
