The episode begins with Rishi gifting a watch to Jhanak. He tells her that she will need it from now on. Jhanak teasingly asks if she won’t be allowed to enter college without wearing a watch. Rishi replies that it will be useful for her. However, Jhanak refuses the gift, saying she doesn’t need it and that accepting it will only create drama if anyone sees it on her wrist.
Rishi insists, saying the government will soon honor her, and he will accompany her to the ceremony. Jhanak reminds him that she is still the same person, but it’s his opinion about her that has changed. Rishi admits that she surprised him and that he feels proud of her.
Jhanak then asks him to leave, saying she needs to revise. Rishi, a bit disappointed, says she rejected his gift. Jhanak explains that if Aditi or others find out she accepted it, she’ll be humiliated. She suggests he give it to her only after getting Aditi’s permission. Rishi mentions that he also brought a gift for Mishti. Jhanak points out that Mishti is his sister, but what is she to him? Rishi urges her not to complicate things and simply accept the gift.
Just then, Aditi arrives and questions Rishi about his presence. Rishi replies that he came to give Jhanak a gift. Aditi objects, reminding him that he once married Jhanak and that he didn’t even discuss the gift with her. Rishi says he doesn’t need her permission for everything. Jhanak quickly clarifies that she already refused to accept it. Aditi rudely tells Jhanak to keep quiet.
Frustrated, Rishi tells Jhanak to do whatever she wants with the gift and forcefully hands it to her. He then asks Aditi why she’s being rude to Jhanak. Jhanak tries to stop their argument, saying she doesn’t want to be the reason for any conflict. Aditi lashes out, questioning why Jhanak even came there when she already causes issues between her and Rishi. Rishi defends Jhanak, saying he brought her there himself and that Aniruddh must accept her wholeheartedly if she’s to stay in his house.
Aditi accuses Rishi of not understanding Jhanak and warns that people like Nutan know how to destroy families. Jhanak immediately warns Aditi not to speak a word against Nutan. She insists that Nutan has done nothing wrong and that she herself has no interest in Rishi. Jhanak reminds Aditi that she is married to Rishi only because Aditi once refused to marry him. Aditi is left shocked.
Jhanak continues, saying that Aditi is alive today only because of Nutan, who accepted her when her own parents abandoned her. Rishi recalls the time Nutan told him everything about Aditi. Jhanak further reveals that Aditi met Aniruddh because of Nutan and that Nutan saved her from the kidnappers. She warns Aditi that if she dares to insult Nutan again, she’ll expose the whole truth. Jhanak urges Aditi to ask Aniruddh why he went to Simulboni and what his connection with Nutan truly is. She adds that Nutan never lies—she told Rishi everything. Aditi storms off in anger.
Meanwhile, Choton tells Bablu that he came to meet Aditi after hearing she was there. Bablu informs him that Aditi has already returned to her in-laws’ house. At the same time, Arshi tells Aniruddh that Aditi isn’t answering her calls. Bablu calls Rishi to confirm, and Rishi tells him that Aditi has reached home safely. Bablu then informs Arshi, who tries to go inside.
Aniruddh stops her, asking why she keeps ignoring Bablu and Choton. Arshi retorts that his family only brings trouble, so she prefers not to deal with them. She questions why Anjana revealed the truth to Aditi. Choton says that it was necessary—he had already asked them to tell Aditi the truth.
Arshi, frustrated, says she doesn’t understand why no one realizes that she stayed away from Aditi for five years because of Nutan, and now she can’t even live peacefully because of Aniruddh’s family. Aniruddh tells her to stop. She demands to know why Nutan said what she did to Rishi. Aniruddh explains that Nutan wanted to secure Jhanak’s future, and that’s why she spoke up. Choton is disappointed, saying he never thought Aniruddh would speak that way about Nutan. Aniruddh replies that he has simply seen Nutan’s real face. Choton sadly tells him that he has changed.
Meanwhile, Aditi recalls everything Anjana and Jhanak said and begins to wonder if they were telling the truth.
