The episode begins with Sanyam confronting Deshraj and making it clear that their relationship is over. He says Deshraj has already broken their bond and that nothing is left between them.
Deshraj reminds him that they share a blood relationship and that such a bond cannot simply be broken, even if Sanyam forms many new relationships in life. The pandit then asks Sanyam to take his father’s blessings. Sanyam refuses and coldly says that his father died long ago. According to him, the man standing in front of him is nothing more than his mother’s husband.
Deshraj asks Sanyam not to let his anger ruin the occasion. However, Sanyam says he is staying at Deshraj’s house only because he gave his mother his word. He then questions why Deshraj attends his mother’s death anniversary every year if he truly does not care about her.
Sanyam tells him to stop pretending to be concerned.
At that moment, Juhi calls Sanyam, but he cuts the call. Deshraj then insists that he loved his wife even though he lost her. Sanyam becomes furious and accuses Deshraj of burning his mother alive. He says he can never forget what happened.
Sanyam further tells Deshraj that he does not even know what his mother liked or what made her happy, so he should stop pretending that he still cares about her.
As Sanyam prepares to leave, Deshraj asks how long he intends to live alone. Sanyam immediately warns him not to call him “beta.” He says he already has people he loves in his life, but Deshraj and his family are not among them.
Mukul then threatens to destroy Sanyam’s new relationships. Sanyam firmly warns him not to interfere with the people he cares about.
Meanwhile, Juhi tells Suchitra that she has tried calling Sanyam several times, but he is not answering. Suchitra assumes that Sanyam may be busy because he is a police inspector. She then suggests that they take a photograph together.
Elsewhere, Sanyam tells Mukul that he is leaving him because Mukul is his mother’s elder son. He walks away, leaving Mukul confused and angry.
Mukul asks Deshraj why he stopped him. Deshraj explains that he does not want outsiders to see the problems within their family.
Later, Karan asks Juhi to practice her winning speech, assuming that she has won the Janki Garment case against Deshraj. Juhi begins her speech and expresses her gratitude to the people who supported her throughout the case.
She especially talks about Suchitra, Karan and Sanyam and says that she could not have won without Sanyam’s support. Juhi keeps mentioning Sanyam and even praises his looks.
She decides to call him and thank him personally. However, Sanyam does not answer again. Suchitra notices how much Juhi cares about him.
Meanwhile, Sanyam returns home, followed by Deshraj and Mukul. Deshraj finally tells Sanyam that he did not kill his mother, despite what Sanyam believes.
Sanyam refuses to accept his explanation. He asks Deshraj to look at the place where his mother was burned and remember that his actions caused immense suffering to her. He insists that everything that happened to his mother was because of Deshraj.
Sanyam recalls the horrifying moment when his mother ran for help, desperately trying to survive, but could not escape the flames. He says that he was helpless and could not save her, but Deshraj also did nothing to help her.
Deshraj insists that he loved Sanyam’s mother and says that Sanyam has misunderstood him. But Sanyam remains unconvinced.
He accuses Deshraj of using his mother’s death to strengthen his position in politics. Sanyam says that this is something he can never forget.
Sanyam then makes a painful declaration: he will never use Deshraj’s name and will never tell the world that he is Deshraj’s son.
Mukul tries to stop him and questions how long Sanyam can continue hiding the truth about his identity.
Sanyam gives him a shocking answer. He says he will continue hiding the truth until the day Deshraj publicly accepts that he abandoned his wife and left her to die.
According to Sanyam, if Deshraj ever admits the truth in front of everyone, he will be ready to accept him as his father.
However, Sanyam believes Deshraj loves politics too much and will never sacrifice his political image to admit what really happened.
