The episode begins with Katha writing in her diary about Mohan, the man who gave her a good life. She notes that Mohan’s health has worsened since Naina’s marriage, though Eshwar has been a great support during this time. She admits that her own stubbornness might once again cause trouble for Mohan, and so, for his sake, she has decided to marry. But this decision doesn’t mean she has failed. As she reflects on her life, she recalls how Mohan cared for her after her mother’s passing. Overcome with emotion, Katha breaks down in tears.
At the Jindal house, Eshwar discusses the current state of the company with Harshvardan, who asks who’s behind the crisis. Eshwar reveals it’s those trying to buy Jindal Pharmacy at a low price. As he begins to say something to Vinith, UV enters with his cousins and mockingly refers to Eshwar as “HOF.” UV then shocks everyone by agreeing to the marriage proposal—not out of willingness, but as a way to save his café. Eshwar is pleased, but UV warns that while Eshwar may have won this round, he will win all the rounds going forward.
UV accuses Eshwar of manipulating him with the help of his mother. Though the accusation stuns everyone, Eshwar remains calm and praises UV for making the right choice. Harshvardan then asks Eshwar about UV’s bride. Ambika prompts Vinith to question Eshwar, but before he can answer, UV interrupts. He announces he doesn’t care who the bride is because he doesn’t accept the marriage. Everyone is left shocked.
Rukhmani and UV’s cousins try to reason with him, but UV declares he’s willing to go to any length to reclaim his mother’s café. Rukhmani scolds him, but UV walks away. Eshwar, however, remains hopeful and says UV will eventually fall in love. Rukhmani criticizes Eshwar for ignoring the feelings of the girl involved, adding that in today’s generation, people usually meet and decide together before marriage. Eshwar challenges this by asking if she and Harshvardan met before marrying—and notes that if they had, they might never have ended up together. He then instructs the family to begin preparations for the wedding, determined to complete it before UV changes his mind.
Meanwhile, Katha visits Vandana and learns that Mohan is still unwell. Concerned, she asks Vandana if his condition is due to her refusal to marry. Shocked, Vandana takes her outside. Katha reveals she overheard their conversation. Vandana reassures her that they respect her choice and won’t pressure her into marriage, promising they’ll find another solution. But Katha insists they already have one—she has decided to marry for Mohan’s sake. Vandana gets emotional and hugs her tightly. Naina overhears and finally understands the reason behind both Katha and Mohan’s troubled state.
Later, Naina advises Katha against marrying out of obligation, but Katha refuses to change her mind. She says Mohan has sacrificed too much for her since childhood, and this is the least she can do for him. On the other side, Mohan is shown wondering whether to reveal the groom’s identity to Katha.
