The episode begins with the Jindals preparing for Raksha Bandhan. Naina offers to help Ambika and Chandrika, but they refuse, saying she’s a guest. Hurt by their coldness, Naina quietly steps back. Eshwar grows irritated when he notices UV’s absence and asks Rukmini to start the Raksha Bandhan puja. He criticizes UV—just as UV arrives, blaming Katha for turning Eshwar against him. He declares that he will celebrate Raksha Bandhan with his cousins and appears cheerful. Seeing him happy, Katha silently questions herself but reminds herself she still owes UV for helping her family in their difficult times.
Shikha performs the puja with her brothers. Later, UV, Pratty, and Omi sit together for Pari and Ash to perform the ceremony. However, Chandrika makes Pratty and Omi move, telling Katha to sit beside UV so they can perform together. UV refuses, insisting Katha is just a guest. Eshwar warns him, and when UV tries to walk away, Pari and Ash stop him, urging him to take part. UV reluctantly agrees, and both Pari and Ash tie him rakhi.
Later, UV enters his room with his cousins and friends, only to find it filled with plants brought by Katha. Annoyed, he asks his cousins to help him throw them out, but they refuse, saying the elders wouldn’t approve. Frustrated, UV is about to smash one of the pots when Katha enters with his tea. She stops him, saying the plants are like her relatives. She explains it was Shlok who placed them there, without her knowledge. UV accuses Shlok of joining the elders’ “gang” to trouble him. Katha goes off to search for something, while Tammy silently vows that Katha must leave the house at any cost.
Katha returns and mixes something into UV’s tea, which both UV and Tammy notice. Tammy provokes UV, suggesting Katha is poisoning him. Shocked, UV angrily calls Katha over, confusing both her and his cousins. Before she can answer his question, he accuses her outright of trying to poison him and tells Pratty to arrest her for attempted murder. Pratty refuses, saying they can’t arrest someone without proof. Omi tries to check the bottle Katha is holding, but UV stops him, calling it “evidence.” Tammy urges Pari and Ash to call the elders, but Pratty and Omi stop them. UV agrees with Tammy, insisting the family should know Katha’s “true” nature.
Deeply hurt, Katha drinks the tea herself, saying if it’s poisoned, she’ll die on the spot. She then explains it contains only neem juice. Turning to Tammy, she exposes her schemes and expresses her disappointment in UV before walking away.
UV confronts Tammy, but she lies. Pratty warns her, and Tammy admits her hatred for Katha. UV scolds her, saying she’s only making the family sympathize with Katha and that he never expected her to stoop so low. Tammy is upset but determined not to spare Katha. Meanwhile, Katha resolves not to cry and makes up her mind to change UV and his cousins’ opinion of her.
