The episode begins with UV asking Katha to come inside. As she struggles to walk, he lifts her in his arms. Katha insists he put her down, but UV refuses until they’re inside. Once in, he prepares a cabbage paste for her blistered leg while expressing his frustration with the current situation, calling it his destiny. When he tries to apply the paste, Katha stops him, refusing to let him touch her legs. She’s also determined not to let him see her face as part of a ritual. UV calmly responds that he has no interest in either and proceeds to apply the ointment. Unseen, Katha watches him quietly as he tends to her wounds.
Meanwhile, at the Jindal house, Tammy is irritated to learn that UV has taken Katha to his café. She accuses Katha of manipulating him and worries that her conspiracy might be exposed. To keep things under wraps, she bribes Jhumki into silence. Jhumki is left speechless.
In the living room, Eshwar realizes both UV and Katha are missing and immediately blames UV. He also holds UV’s cousins responsible for Katha’s injury. Rukmini scolds him for making baseless accusations, while Chandrika vents her frustration over the duo’s absence. Ambika, concerned that UV and Katha might grow closer, demands answers from the cousins, who lie to protect themselves. Meanwhile, Charu nervously shares her fear with Shlok about Chandrika discovering their involvement in UV and Katha’s disappearance. Shlok, however, says he’s willing to face the consequences if it helps bring UV and Katha closer.
Eshwar decides to involve the commissioner to find Katha, but Rukmini advises against it. Just then, UV returns home carrying Katha. Eshwar immediately berates him for endangering his granddaughter-in-law, and Chandrika scolds them both for breaking ritual norms. Kailash steps in to defend them. UV acknowledges that he knew helping Katha would land him in trouble. Eshwar demands that UV and Katha meet him in his room, then walks away.
UV initially refuses to go, prompting Harshvardan to demand an explanation about where he took Katha. UV’s silence shocks Katha. Rukmini manages to convince UV, who then asks Katha to come along.
In Eshwar’s room, he accuses UV of trying to drive Katha out and demands a written assurance that he won’t divorce or oust her from the house. UV becomes angry, frustrated that Eshwar won’t listen to him, and declares that Katha will leave on her own. Witnessing their heated exchange, Katha questions the nature of their relationship.
Eshwar challenges UV, saying Katha will change him for the better. UV scoffs, claiming that’s impossible. He then declares he will expand his mother’s café globally and has no interest in taking over the family business, before storming out. Eshwar is left upset. Katha consoles him, and he pleads with her not to leave and to try and change UV. The episode ends with Katha promising Eshwar that she will fulfill her responsibilities and never leave the house, bringing a smile to his face.
