The episode begins with Chandrika chatting with a guest while Rukmini anxiously worries about Katha not returning with UV. She asks her granddaughters to find out what’s going on, and they promptly leave to do so. When one of the guests questions Rukmini about the whereabouts of the bride and groom, Rukmini makes up an excuse, attributing it to the unpredictability of the younger generation. Chandrika, growing uneasy, asks Rukmini how much longer they can keep lying to the guests. Rukmini admits she’s worried too.
Just then, Mohan and his family arrive at the Jindal house for the reception. Rukmini greets them warmly but can’t shake the thought that both UV and Katha are unhappy with this marriage.
Outside, Shikha comforts Katha, reassuring her that she tried her best to bring UV back and shouldn’t feel guilty. But Katha breaks down, saying she failed. Charu arrives and consoles her, assuring her that the elders will handle the guests. Meanwhile, Pari and Ash reach the venue and ask Shlok about UV. Pari criticizes Eshwar for giving Katha the responsibility to convince UV. Just then, UV arrives, leaving everyone relieved. Eshwar silently thanks God for proving that choosing Katha for UV was the right decision.
However, UV taunts Eshwar, saying he didn’t return because of Katha—but for his mother. Katha quietly thanks God, realizing that her conversation with UV about his mother worked. As UV and Katha head inside to get ready, Harshvardhan and Eshwar are left puzzled by UV’s statement. Shlok informs them about Katha’s earlier conversation with UV.
Later, Katha and UV appear on stage, and the reception ceremony begins. Ambika is visibly upset with Tammy for failing to stop UV’s return. Shlok encourages UV to smile, but he refuses and appears annoyed. Both Eshwar and Rukmini hope the newlyweds will accept their marriage eventually. Shlok delivers a speech, inviting the guests to bless the couple, and one by one, guests come forward with their blessings.
When Mohan and Vandana approach the stage to greet the couple, UV abruptly walks away and starts arguing with Shlok. Mohan asks Katha if she’s truly happy, but Vandana answers on her behalf, insisting she is. Shlok then pushes UV toward Mohan and Vandana, causing UV to stumble. It appears as though UV is bowing to seek their blessings, and they bless him. Vandana lovingly asks UV to take care of their Katha.
Later, UV decides to leave, but Shlok stops him and announces Eshwar’s plan for a musical battle between Katha and UV. He asks the guests to choose sides—either Katha’s team or UV’s. Eshwar tells Katha she’ll be in his team, and she agrees. Prerna persuades Naina to join UV’s team.
Chandrika, having heard of Katha’s singing talent, requests her to sing. Though hesitant at first, Katha agrees and sings an old classic, which everyone enjoys. Afterward, Eshwar playfully mocks UV’s team. One of UV’s cousins urges him to sing, but UV refuses and starts to leave. However, Eshwar provokes him, and UV eventually agrees to sing. He performs and dances along with his cousins. Shlok and Charu try to get Katha and UV to dance together, but both remain stubborn and irritated—especially when they end up tangled in a cloth together.
