The episode begins with the police arresting Angad in front of his shocked family. The family members repeatedly ask the officers what Angad has done, but the police remain silent. Angad calls out to his parents, and finally, the police reveal that he was found drunk the previous night. They inform Mihir that Angad is a suspect in a hit-and-run case.
Angad tries to explain his side, but Tulsi doesn’t believe him and starts hitting him. She tells Mihir that someone is critically injured and hospitalized because of the accident. Mihir tries to calm her down, while Gayatri begins clicking pictures of Angad. Mihir then suggests they go to the police station and arrange for Angad’s bail.
Mihir asks Angad to relax, and Angad insists that he wasn’t drunk and wasn’t the one driving. Mihir presses him to name the driver, and Angad finally names Samir, saying he was scared and asking Tulsi to call him. Tulsi calls Samir and asks who was driving. Samir falsely claims that Angad was behind the wheel. Angad urges Samir to tell the truth, while the police begin investigating CCTV footage to identify the real culprit.

Back at home, Daksha tries to calm Tulsi as a crowd of media gathers outside to cover the story. Gayatri mocks Tulsi, criticizing her for not raising the children properly. Daksha tells her to stop, but Gayatri continues taunting Tulsi and blames her for Angad’s alleged drinking habits. Mihir steps in, accepting that he too failed in raising the children properly.
The police launch an investigation and try to retrieve the CCTV footage, only to find it missing. They call the traffic department for assistance in locating the recording.
Pari asks Mihir how they’ll arrange bail for Angad. Gayatri suggests they need a top lawyer for the case. Hemant offers to take on Angad’s case himself and assures the family that he’ll handle it. However, Gayatri is envious—she wants Tulsi to suffer. Hemant asks Mihir to sign the legal papers, but Tulsi stops him. She insists that if Angad is guilty, he should be punished. Mihir urges her to reconsider and warns her about the family’s reputation and media attention. But Tulsi stands firm, refusing to support the bail.
Gayatri then shocks everyone by declaring that Angad is not Tulsi’s biological son. Tulsi is heartbroken by the statement, but the other children come forward and support her. Daksha reminds Gayatri that Kesar entrusted Tulsi with the family’s responsibilities, but Gayatri retorts with bitter truths. Hemant tries to silence her, but Tulsi is deeply hurt.
Ritik and Pari assure Tulsi that no matter what anyone says, she is their true mother. Tulsi asks them not to cry and steps outside to protect the sacred Tulsi plant from the pouring rain.
Emotionally overwhelmed, Tulsi pleads with the plant to protect her home. She feels helpless, unsure of who will support her. Just then, a girl appears, also shielding her own Tulsi plant from the rain.
This girl lives in a chawl and is a devoted worshipper of the Tulsi plant.
Meanwhile, in another scene, a woman tells her son to wake up and turns off the fan, prompting complaints from her mother-in-law. A clash begins between the saas and bahu, but the girl intervenes to calm the situation.
Tulsi is torn between truth and lies, believing only the sacred plant can guide her now.
Back at the police station, a traffic constable arrives with the CCTV footage. It turns out he is the brother of the girl who lives in the chawl.
