The episode begins with Ritik and Angad catching the aroma of delicious food, and Tulsi happily watches her family gathered around the dining table. Daksha teases Gayatri, while Tulsi asks Nandini where her children are. Nandini replies that they are having snacks in their room, and Tulsi mentions that she will start their class tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Mihir announces a big decision, appointing Karan as the head of the business. Hemant asks Mihir if this decision was because of him, and Mihir confirms it. Gayatri questions Mihir about handing over the business, and Mihir explains that Karan left the USA because of him. Daksha tells Gayatri to stay out of the matter, while Karan expresses that he doesn’t want to accept the proposal. Mihir insists on his decision, prompting Hemant to excuse himself from the dining table.
Gayatri tries to stop Hemant and accuses Mihir of being unfair to his son, calling him biased. Karan asks her to calm down, and Daksha advises the same. Gayatri reminds Mihir of Hemant’s sacrifices, while Daksha insists it is a family matter. Hemant asserts that his mother isn’t wrong and confronts Mihir about showing favoritism. Mihir admits to partiality, saying it’s because it’s his business. He declares that he loves his son more than his brother and emphasizes that he is the final decision-maker.
Tulsi intervenes, supporting Mihir and reminding everyone how he managed the business while Hemant studied abroad. Hemant argues that Mihir should consider his brother as well and apologizes to Tulsi for leaving Delhi. He decides to leave Shantiniketan and shift to Delhi.
