Today’s episode begins with Tripti explaining the affidavit to the Virani family. She says that Samaira is an adult and has the legal right to marry Sid. If anyone tries to stop the marriage, Samaira can take legal action because she has signed the affidavit. However, Tripti makes it clear that she wants Sid and Samaira to get married with both families present and according to traditional rituals.
Gautam tries to find a way to challenge the affidavit, but Shail reminds everyone that Sid and Samaira are adults, so the family cannot legally force them apart. Karan becomes furious and blames Tulsi for ruining everything. He accuses her of helping Samaira and says that although he cannot keep his daughter unmarried forever, he will never accept her marriage with Sid.
Samaira becomes heartbroken and runs to her room. Karan follows her and, in anger, tries to raise his hand against her. Tulsi immediately stops him and questions how he could even think of hurting his own daughter. Karan blames Tulsi for Samaira’s decisions.
Meanwhile, Sid worries about Samaira and tells Tripti that he will never forgive himself if something happens to her. Tripti reminds him about their plan. She believes that once the Virani family realises they could lose Samaira completely, they will understand her importance and eventually accept her relationship with Sid.
The situation takes a shocking turn when Garima notices that Samaira is about to harm herself. The family rushes to stop her. Nandini desperately tries to open the door and begs Samaira not to take such a step.
Samaira breaks down and tells Karan that she will neither marry Sid nor anyone else. She says that the family’s old conflicts have overshadowed her happiness and that she has never been able to live according to her own wishes. She feels that everyone might be happier without her.
Karan is reminded of the painful loss of Parth. He tells Gautam and Shail that he has already lost his son and cannot bear to lose his daughter too. Gautam says they can deal with the affidavit later, while Shail again reminds Karan that Sid and Samaira are adults.
Finally, Karan gives in and agrees to Samaira’s marriage with Sid. He says that he has already lost one child and cannot lose his daughter as well. He promises to sit with Samaira and discuss the marriage calmly. Samaira becomes emotional and hugs her father.
