The episode begins with Karan and Nandini worrying about Raunak’s whereabouts. Believing Gautam knows where he is, Nandini asks Shobha to call him once again.
Just then, Gautam arrives. The family immediately asks about Raunak, but Gautam says Raunak was never with him. At first, everyone thinks he is joking, but Gautam insists that he has no idea where Raunak is.
Karan loses his temper and blames Nandini for trusting Gautam with Raunak’s responsibility. He also lashes out at Gautam for offering help despite knowing he could not do anything.
Calling Gautam a loser, Karan says he sacrificed his self-respect by coming to him for help but achieved nothing in return.
Gautam calmly replies that if he had not stepped in, Karan would have lost his son.
Just then, Raunak returns home safely. He reveals that Gautam helped him secure bail and got all the police records cleared.
A flashback shows Gautam meeting Mr. Narang. Gautam reminds him that Karan had shown him mercy during an earlier scandal and warns that if the charges against Raunak are not dropped, Mr. Narang himself could end up in jail.
After hearing the full story, the family questions Gautam for hiding the truth. Gautam explains that although he was not physically with Raunak, his legal team handled everything.
He then points out that Karan insulted him without knowing the complete facts.
Meanwhile, Damini asks Karan what he has to say now that Gautam has successfully saved his son.
Nandini thanks Gautam for helping the family, but he refuses to accept her gratitude. Instead, he tells his son to make grand wedding arrangements, saying they finally have someone who can contribute to the celebrations.
However, Karan still refuses to thank Gautam. He argues that Gautam only did his job because he was paid for it.
The next day, Karan sees Gautam inviting his own friends to the wedding and confronts him. Accusing Gautam of trying to insult him, Karan warns him not to interfere in the wedding arrangements.
As their argument grows louder, Tulsi walks in and sarcastically comments on their behaviour. She then asks Shobha to serve her some halwa.
Karan mocks Tulsi for ordering food only for herself and calls her selfish.
Tulsi immediately gives it back, saying they have always acted selfishly themselves. She adds that she has no reason to show them love when they cannot even care for one another.
In the final moments, Tulsi asks Shobha to place her chair in the middle of the house. She sits comfortably, puts on her earphones, and peacefully listens to music while Karan and Gautam continue their heated argument in the background.
