The episode begins with Karan informing his children that his business friend, Subhash Gupta, is arriving in India. He says Subhash will be staying at a hotel during his visit.
Samira suggests inviting Subhash to stay at Shantiniketan instead. Rounak points out that Subhash might learn about the problems in the house. Karan says that is exactly why he has arranged a hotel for him. He doesn’t want their family situation to leave a bad impression.
Later, Karan and Sahil watch a football match together. Sahil mentions that Devika will arrive at 10 p.m. Samira immediately says she will go to the airport to receive her.
Karan refuses to let Samira go. Sahil advises Karan not to be too strict, warning that the children may rebel if he keeps controlling them.
Sahil reminds Karan that he once believed parents should be friends with their children. Karan says his thinking has changed after being hurt. Sahil understands his pain and asks him not to punish the children for it.
Karan insists that his children should always follow his rules. Sahil continues to advise him, but Gautam interrupts and jokingly calls Karan a dictator.
Gautam asks Sahil to convince Karan to change his attitude. Karan immediately refuses to take any advice from Gautam. The two brothers begin arguing once again.
Gautam invites Sahil to join his side of the family for the wedding celebrations. Sahil chooses to stay with Karan because of their long friendship. Gautam asks him to let go of the past, but Karan calls Gautam two-faced. Their argument grows more heated before Gautam walks away.

Privately, Samira and Rounak decide they will defeat Tulsi and force her to leave the house.
Karan arrives and asks what they are discussing. He also asks where Garima is. Samira tells him that Garima has gone to visit a friend.
Meanwhile, Subhash reaches the hotel only to discover that his booking has been cancelled. At that moment, Tulsi arrives and offers to take him to Shantiniketan.
Subhash says he was told the house was under renovation. Tulsi reveals that Karan lied to him.
Back at Shantiniketan, Karan, Samira, and Rounak try to ignore Gautam’s wedding celebrations. Nakul notices their attitude and feels disappointed. Karan tells them to enjoy their own function instead.
Vaishnavi asks Sobha where Tulsi has gone. Just then, Tulsi returns with Subhash, leaving Karan completely shocked.
Samira learns that the guest is Subhash. Karan welcomes him, but Subhash immediately asks why he lied about the house.
Tulsi tells Karan to answer honestly. She reveals that she overheard his conversation with Subhash and decided to bring him home herself.
Subhash says Tulsi told him the truth. He adds that he feels comfortable staying at Shantiniketan and is happy to help Karan if needed.
Tulsi announces that Subhash will stay with the family and asks Karan to smile. Karan then introduces Subhash to his children.
Gautam quietly asks Tulsi what she is planning. Tulsi replies that such an important businessman should be welcomed properly. She tells all the children to get ready for the wedding celebrations.
