The episode begins with Krishna officially announcing Naina as his fiancée, a declaration that fills the Mehta household with joy and excitement. Nandita and Queenie are especially delighted and immediately start planning the wedding at the earliest possible date.

Amid the celebrations, Naina receives an unexpected call from her boyfriend, Pranav, who has coincidentally arrived at the same restaurant to meet her. Startled and anxious, Naina ignores his repeated calls, not wanting to cause a scene in front of Krishna and his family.

Using the excuse of going to the washroom, Naina quietly slips away to meet Pranav. He confronts her, insisting that he cannot tolerate her marrying someone else and demands reassurance about their long-standing relationship. When Naina hesitates, Pranav becomes furious, but she manages to calm him temporarily, promising to meet later and discuss everything in detail.
