The episode opens with Karan discovering Karthik and Lakshmi lying unconscious. Assuming a snake might have bitten them, he worries for their safety. Observing the situation, Karan feels Lakshmi risked her life to save Karthik, and begins to sense a deeper connection between the two.
Lakshmi later regains consciousness and finds herself at home with Swetha beside her. Swetha scolds her for venturing into the jungle and thanks the doctor for administering the antidote in time. Karan soon arrives to check on Lakshmi. Swetha excuses herself to make coffee, leaving them alone.
Karan directly questions Lakshmi about her relationship with Karthik, asking why she risked her life for him. Lakshmi firmly denies any personal connection and says she would have helped anyone in danger. When she questions Karan’s own presence in the jungle, Swetha returns with coffee, and Karan leaves without replying.
Meanwhile, Karthik wakes up and sees Barkha by his side. Barkha expresses how worried she was for him. When Karthik recalls that a girl saved him in the jungle, Barkha lies, claiming it was her. She confesses her love for Karthik and hugs him, silently vowing to do anything for him—even deceive.
Elsewhere, Maddy confronts Karan for tampering with Karthik’s vehicle and misleading him with a wrong route. He warns that someone could have died because of it. Karan asks Maddy to calm down and keep it a secret. Just then, Maddy spots Lakshmi at the door and realizes she overheard everything.
Lakshmi confronts Karan, demanding to know why he sabotaged Karthik’s vehicle and what grudge he holds against him. Karan taunts her for worrying only about Karthik, reminding her that she too could have died. Angered, Lakshmi rebukes him and walks away.
Karthik later meets Lakshmi and teasingly asks why she hasn’t congratulated him or brought a gift for his engagement. Lakshmi congratulates him curtly and leaves. Karthik reflects on her words, convinced that she’s pretending to have moved on.
Barkha, searching for Lakshmi’s designs, stumbles upon a box containing Karthik’s photograph. Confronting Lakshmi, she demands an explanation, but Lakshmi remains silent. In anger, Barkha steps on Lakshmi’s foot with her heel, injuring her. Swetha quickly intervenes and covers up the situation.
Barkha then complains to Karan, claiming Lakshmi is trying to steal Karthik from her. Karan pacifies Barkha, assuring her that he won’t let that happen.
Later, Swetha asks Lakshmi if she’s a fan of Karthik and if that’s why she had his picture. Lakshmi admits it and brushes off the matter, while Swetha advises her to forget about it and leaves the room.
