The episode begins with the police demanding that Lakshmi surrender. She refuses, insisting she escaped to prove her innocence but was betrayed by someone she trusted. Karan urges her to surrender, but Lakshmi refuses to go to jail for a crime she did not commit. She questions who will take care of Shanvi if she is imprisoned, especially since Karan does not even want to see the child. Using a fire extinguisher, Lakshmi creates chaos and escapes from the police.
Determined to prove her innocence, Lakshmi tries to leave but is soon surrounded by Vyom, Bhavani, and Jia’s cars. Jia mocks her, and despite Lakshmi’s efforts to flee, she is trapped. Jia forcefully snatches the baby from her, while Bhavani and Vyom hold her down.
Lakshmi pleads with Jia not to harm Shanvi. Bhavani tells her that she will feel the same pain she caused when her son was taken from her, and Jia cruelly adds that Lakshmi will suffer even more, watching her baby die before her eyes. Lakshmi begs them repeatedly, but they ignore her.
Jia places the baby on the road, Vyom gets into his car, and while holding Lakshmi down, Jia allows Vyom to drive over the baby. Lakshmi loses consciousness before witnessing the full scene.
She wakes up in prison and urgently asks a lady constable about her baby. The constable angrily tells her that while she tried to escape, a car hit them and her baby died in the accident. Lakshmi insists they are lying and claims that Jia, Bhavani, and Vyom murdered Shanvi. The constable refuses to believe her and orders her to remain silent.
Meanwhile, Karan is consumed with guilt for betraying Lakshmi. Bhavani approaches him, claiming Lakshmi has killed the baby. Confused, Karan asks for clarification. Jia arrives and explains that Lakshmi’s escape attempt caused the accident and that the baby died. Karan becomes emotional upon hearing this.
Jia tells Bhavani that Lakshmi should have died instead, and that now she must live alone with the child. She tries to leave the house, but Bhavani stops her, reminding her that she is carrying Krish’s child. Karan reassures Bhavani that the Kapoor family will take care of Jia. Bhavani questions Karan’s authority to let Jia stay, emphasizing that a child without a father will never be respected, and asks if he is willing to take responsibility. Karan agrees. Bhavani leaves, followed by Karan.
Jia internally reflects that her fake pregnancy has secured her position in the Kapoor mansion and that soon the family property will be hers. Karan regrets that he could have accepted Shanvi if only Lakshmi had been truthful, while Lakshmi laments that Karan’s disbelief caused her to lose her daughter.
